Welcome back to another fresh Splinterlands post, guys, and I hope all of you are doing great in your lives and enjoying an energetic and peaceful day with your loved ones. If you are also a lover of Splinterlands and love to play this card-based strategy game on a regular basis, then I guess you are working on strengthening your card collection. I believe most of you are currently playing ranked battles and trying seriously to push your trophy count higher before the season ends. If we take a quick look at the ongoing ranked season timer, there are still around 3 days and 19 hours left before this season comes to an end. So do not lose hope if you are still behind your goal, cause there is still some time left to climb the ladder, secure better league tier positions, and grab those reward chests or even aim for a leaderboard spot if you are feeling invincible. But be sure to manage your battle energy properly so that you can get the most out of the remaining time.

Now, talking about my own progress in the game, I am, as usual, playing frontier mode daily and currently playing in the Gold I league tier with a trophy count of around 3,760. My immediate goal for this season is to reach the 4,000 trophy mark, and after that, I will try to push further and aim for the leaderboard. With only a few days left, it is going to be a bit challenging, but I will still try my best. On the other hand, if we take a look at the weekly Frontier raffle, I have collected a total of 21 entries till now and with only around 3 days and 18 hours left before the raffle draw, I will try to increase this number to at least 54 entries or more to improve my chances. Let’s see how it goes this time.

Bellowmancer

Now moving ahead, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another powerful monster from the Conclave Arcana set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Bellowmancer. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster, let us dive deeper without any further delay.

The Bellowmancer is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the Conclave Arcana edition. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and it comes from the Ulund bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Legendary monster, so you will require a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you want to use this monster in battles, you need to spend a heavy 10 mana cost, which means it is best suited for medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Magic, and apart from its magical attack, it also comes with a very strong combination of armor and health, making it extremely durable on the battlefield. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of four powerful abilities, which I will explain later in this post. Let us now take a closer look at the league-wise stats and abilities of this card to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster possesses a strong base stats that consist of 2 magic attack power at 1 speed with 5 armor and 8 health. Apart from these solid stats, it also has an ability from its initial level called Taunt. This ability forces enemy units to target this monster, helping protect your other cards.

TAUNT – Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units at the first position.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, its defensive stats improve and it now holds 2 magic attack power at 1 speed with 6 armor and 8 health. At this level, it also gains another useful ability called Shield. This makes it extremely strong against melee and ranged attackers.

SHIELD – Takes 50% less damage from physical attacks (rounded up), and takes no damage from physical attacks with 1 power.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 3, its stats improve again and it now carries 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 7 armor and 9 health. At this level, it also gains an interesting ability called Reveal. This ability helps counter stealthy enemies hiding behind camouflage.

REVEAL – Each round applies Revealed to an enemy Camouflaged unit. Revealed units can be directly targeted.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 4, its stats increase further and it now holds 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 7 armor and 9 health. At this level, it also gains another strong ability called Void Armor. This makes it even more durable, especially against magic-based attackers.

VOID ARMOR – Magic damage hits armor before health.

Last but not least, I think this monster can be extremely useful in high mana battles. First of all, it comes with a very strong armor and health combination, and on top of that, the Shield ability reduces incoming physical damage even further, making it very effective against melee and ranged attackers. Another thing I really like about this monster is its magic attack power, which allows it to deal consistent damage while staying on the frontline. The Taunt ability is also very important, as it draws all enemy attacks toward itself and gives your backline monsters enough time to eliminate enemies. Finally, with the addition of Void Armor, it also becomes very strong against magic attackers, and the Reveal ability makes it useful for hunting down camouflaged units. Overall, I think this monster is a very powerful defensive tank with strong magical capabilities and can be a great addition to your collection for high mana battles. What do you think?
