Welcome back to another juicy and awesome Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing absolutely great in your life and enjoying another wonderful day with your loved ones. Now, if you are also deep into this strategic web3 game, then I also hope your ranked battles have been going well for this ongoing season and that you are steadily moving toward your seasonal goals while collecting plenty of valuable rewards along the way. The current ranked season is now almost near its end, with only around 1 day and 1 hour remaining before the reset. These final hours are always the most thrilling and intense because everyone is trying their level best at the moment to squeeze out every possible trophy for a better league finish and hopefully a leaderboard position. If you are still pushing, then I wish you the very best of luck, and hopefully all of us can finish this season with some excellent rewards.

Now talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league with 4,340 trophies. I am really happy that I have finally crossed my target of 4,300 trophies, and from this point onward my only goal is to continue pushing as high as possible and hopefully secure a position on the leaderboard before the season finally ends. So from now on, every single battle matters. Looking at this week's raffle progress, I currently have 24 raffle entries collected so far. There are still around 4 days and 30 minutes remaining before the raffle concludes, so I once again have enough time to reach my target of around 54 to 57 entries if I can continue playing consistently throughout the remaining days.

Today's Frontier rewards were fairly decent as well and I also marked my 73rd consecutive login streak today. I am really pleased that I have been able to maintain it for such a long time, not to mention, keeping the streak alive has become a daily habit because every extra reward adds up over time. During today's Frontier Daily Wheel, I received 5 Frontier Battle Energy and my total Sparks balance has now reached 27,506 Sparks.

Apart from that, today I also opened 5 Foundation Packs that I earned from my recent daily missions. The pack opening turned out to be another satisfying one. This time I managed to pull 1 Epic card, 1 Gold Foil Rare card, and another 6 Rare cards, including an impressive 3 Archons. Besides those, I also received 2 Gold Foil Common cards, while the remaining cards were regular Common cards. Pulling 3 Archons and 3 gold foils from only five packs was definitely the highlight of today's opening, so overall I am very happy with these rewards.

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let me introduce another useful reward monster from the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be taking a closer look at Surgeblade. So, let's begin.
The Surgeblade was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. This is a monster type card that belongs to the Water element and comes from the Djinn bloodline. It is enlisted as a Common monster card, making it relatively easy to upgrade compared to higher rarities and you'll need a total of 400 CC cards to upgrade it to max level. This monster costs only 5 mana to deploy, allowing it to fit comfortably into low, medium, and even high mana battles. It is a Melee attacker and unlocks a total of three abilities at its maximum level. I personally think that for a Common reward monster, this is an excellent combination of utility and offensive power.

At Level 3, Surgeblade possesses 3 Melee attack, 3 Speed, 1 Armor, and 3 Health. Right from this level, it already gains two useful abilities called Charge and Reveal.

CHARGE – Can use Melee attacks from any position.

REVEAL – At the beginning of each round, applies Reveal to one Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can then be targeted by direct attacks.
At Level 5, Surgeblade maintains 3 Melee attack and 3 Speed while improving to 2 Armor and 4 Health. Although no new ability is unlocked at this level, the increase in Armor and Health makes it noticeably more durable and capable of surviving additional attacks.
At Level 8, Surgeblade improves further with 4 Melee attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor, and 4 Health. The increased attack power together with the significant Armor boost allows it to become a much stronger offensive threat while also improving its survivability.
At Level 10, Surgeblade reaches its maximum form with 4 Melee attack, 3 Speed, 5 Armor, and 4 Health. At this level, it unlocks its final ability called Blast.

BLAST – Deals an additional 50% damage (rounded up) to the units adjacent to the primary target.
Last but not least, I think Surgeblade is one of those Common reward monsters that offers amazing value for its relatively low mana cost. The very first thing that impressed me is how much this monster brings to the battlefield for only 5 mana. It has a respectable combination of Armor and Health, allowing it to survive several attacks, while also possessing solid Melee damage and decent Speed to remain effective throughout the battle. The first ability that I really enjoy is the Charge. It is honestly one of my favourite abilities in the game because it allows this monster to attack from any position in the lineup. In many ways, it almost feels like every battle becomes a Melee Mayhem ruleset whenever Surgeblade is included in your team. This gives you much more flexibility while building your lineup and prevents the monster from becoming useless if it gets pushed away from the frontline. On the other hand, the Reveal ability is another very useful addition. Camouflage monsters are often difficult to eliminate because they cannot normally be targeted directly, but Surgeblade solves that problem by revealing one Camouflaged enemy every round. This makes it an excellent counter against strategies that rely heavily on hidden support monsters. Finally, the Blast ability makes this monster even more dangerous once fully upgraded. Splash damage is always one of the strongest offensive mechanics in Splinterlands because a single successful attack can damage up to three enemy monsters at once. When combined with its Charge ability, Surgeblade can consistently pressure multiple enemies throughout the battle without worrying about its position in the lineup. Overall, I believe Surgeblade is an outstanding Common reward monster that combines flexibility, utility, and impressive offensive potential into one affordable package. It is definitely a card worth upgrading if you enjoy playing aggressive melee-based teams.
