Welcome back to another fresh Splinterlands post everyone, and I hope all of you are doing pretty great in your lives and enjoying another energetic and wonderful day with your family and friends. I hope all of you who are actively playing this amazing web3 card strategy game are having an amazing experience so far in this ongoing ranked season and are also collecting lots of good rewards along the way. If we quickly take a peek at the current ranked season timer, it still has around 3 days and 23 hours remaining before it comes to an end, so there is still enough time left to push a little harder and achieve our goals, whether it is to improve our final trophy count before the reset happens or to secure a seat in the top champion leaderboard. So, all the best players and I hope you reach your destination sooner this time.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode of this game, I am currently competing in the highest Gold I league and sitting at 3,840 trophies. As always, my first target is to reach the 4,200 trophy mark and then, if I still have enough battle energy and time left, I will definitely try for another leaderboard finish, though players know how hard it is to reach there. Looking at the weekly raffle, I currently have 27 entries collected. There are still around 3 days and 22 hours remaining before the raffle ends, so my target remains around 54 entries if everything goes according to plan.

Moving on and talking about today's Frontier Daily Wheel rewards, luck wasn't particularly generous this time, as I received only 50 Sparks along with another 10 bonus Sparks because of my reward streak. However, I am not complaining because today my streak officially reached 39 consecutive days. That means I am continuously enjoying the +20% bonus rewards, and I definitely don't want to miss even a single day now because losing such a long streak would also mean losing those valuable extra rewards.

Apart from that, I also opened 6 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last three days' daily missions. This time the rewards were pretty satisfying as I pulled 3 Epic cards, 7 Rare cards including 1 Archon, 1 Gold Foil Common card, while the remaining cards were regular Common cards.

Now moving on, let me hump into the main topic and showcase today's featured monster to you all, as I would like to introduce another interesting card from the newest Escalation mini card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be taking a closer look at Skritka. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, then let's take a dive without any further ado.
Skritka is a monster type card that was launched in splinterlands with the introduction of the newest escalation mini cardset edition. This monster belongs to the Death element and comes from the Rodentian bloodline. It is a Legendary monster card from the newest Escalation mini card set, meaning players need a total of 11 CC cards to fully upgrade it to its maximum level. This monster costs only 7 mana to deploy and possesses one of my favourite attack combinations in the game, as it uses both Melee and Ranged attacks together. Along with its impressive offensive capability, it also comes with a respectable health bar and gains some really useful abilities as it levels up. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

At level 1, Skritka possesses 3 Melee attack, 2 Ranged attack, 3 Speed, and 5 Health. Right from its initial level, it gains the Kindred Will: Life Leech ability.

KINDRED WILL: LIFE LEECH – At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred Spirit ability will gain Life Leech.
At level 2, the monster keeps its 3 Melee attack, 2 Ranged attack, and 3 Speed, while its Health increases to 6. At this level, it unlocks another excellent ability called Charge.

CHARGE – Can use Melee attacks from any position.
At level 3, Skritka becomes stronger with 4 Melee attack, 2 Ranged attack, 3 Speed, and 7 Health. Although it does not gain any new abilities at this level, the increase in both attack and health makes it a much more dangerous damage dealer.
At level 4, Skritka reaches its maximum form with 4 Melee attack, 3 Ranged attack, 3 Speed, and 8 Health. At this stage, it unlocks its final ability called Bulwark.

BULWARK – When in the first position, this monster loses 2 attack power but gains +8 Health and +8 Armor.
Last but not least, I think Skritka is one of the strongest dual attack monsters introduced in the Escalation mini set. The very first thing that impressed me is its combination of Melee and Ranged attacks. For only 7 mana, getting two different attack types along with a healthy amount of health makes this monster an excellent choice for medium and high mana battles. The overall damage output is simply amazing. Another thing that I really like is the Kindred Will: Life Leech ability. If you place other Kindred monsters adjacent to this card, they receive the Life Leech ability as well. Having multiple monsters continuously increasing their maximum health throughout the battle can become a huge advantage during longer matches. The Charge ability is another excellent addition because it allows Skritka to keep using its powerful Melee attack no matter where it is positioned. This gives you much more flexibility while building your lineup, as you don't have to worry about placing it near the front to utilize its full damage potential. Finally, the Bulwark ability makes this monster even more interesting. Once placed in the first position, it sacrifices only a small amount of attack power but gains a massive +8 Health and +8 Armor. That instantly transforms Skritka into an incredibly difficult tank to bring down while it continues dealing respectable damage. Overall, I believe Skritka is a fantastic Legendary monster that combines heavy offence with excellent survivability, making it a very valuable addition to any Death lineup.
