I hope all of you are doing well in life and enjoying an amazing weekend with your family and friends. Now, for the splinterlands players, most of them would be busy right now while the rest of the world is enjoying the Sunday, because the ranked season is about to end very soon. If we take a look at the season clock right now, there are fewer than 3 days remaining before this season meets its end. So, if you have been playing actively in this season and have already finished your goal, then congratulations to you. But if you have not accomplished your seasonal goal yet, I would advise giving it the highest priority possible. Because most probably the season-end bloodbath has started already, and now all the top players will start going super active and coming in with complete collections and unbeatable strategies. So, the sooner you finish your goal, the better. So, all the best and I really wish that you reach your goal sooner this time, whether it is to enter a certain league tier or to compete against the OG players to claim a glorious spot at the top champion leaderboard.

Moving on, let’s take a look at the other important season, which is also moving towards its end and about to get rest around the same time as the ranked season. Yes, I am talking about the frontier ranked season, and I guess most of you who play this game also partake in this newest gameplay mode on a regular basis, and most of you have already built a max foundation card collection or are on the way. The best thing about this newest gameplay mode in splinterlands is that it is completely Free to Play, so you do not need to buy or rent anything in the form of NFT cards or tokens and can just continue playing, earning rewards and progressing. For completing all 3 daily missions, you get rewarded with foundation cards or packs, which you can either choose to use to upgrade your foundation card collection, or you can also list them for sale and earn crypto. Now, for me, I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,480. Also, I have already completed all my 3 daily missions today and got rewarded with 3 foundation packs and 9 raffle entries. So far, I have collected a total of 24 raffle entries and will try to collect another 9 tomorrow, which is the last date for this ongoing raffle, before it meets its end. Let’s see if my lowest entry tickets in this raffle have enough luck power to earn me something.

Razi Clanktrap

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing the Razi Clanktrap. So, if you want to learn about this splinterlands card, then let’s take a dive without any further ado.

The Razi Clanktrap is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands with the release of the latest conclave Arcana core card set. This is an archon type card that belongs to the Death element and comes from the Gnome bloodline. This monster, by rarity, is a Rare type card. So you would require a total of 115 CC cards to upgrade it to its max level. The mana cost of this archon card is only 4, so you can easily choose it when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League ruleset. This archon comes with 2 very cool features - first, the Close Range and then a bloodline special ability, which we are about to discover later in this post. BRONZE - At Bronze max league level 2, this archon card supports max -> level 3 commons, level 2 rares, level 2 epics and level 1 legendary cards.

SILVER - At Silver max league level 4, it supports max -> level 5 commons, level 4 rares, level 3 epics and level 2 legendary cards.

GOLD - At Gold max league or level 6, this archon card supports max -> level 8 commons, level 6 rares, level 5 epics and level 3 legendary cards.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION - At its max league level of 8, this archon card will support all max cards -> level 10 commons, level 8 rares, level 6 epics and level 4 legendary cards.

BUFFS

Just like most of the other archon cards in splinterlands, this archon also carries some buffs and in its case, it possesses a normal buff and a bloodline buff, both of which apply since its initial level. Let us now dive into the details below, at what this archon actually provides us.

CLOSE RANGE

Can use ranged attacks from the first position.

All friendly monsters will receive the deflect ability at the start of the battle.

Now, the second set of buffs is actually a Bloodline special buff, so it will be applied only to the friendly monsters that possess the same bloodline as this archon card.

BLOODLINE DOMINION

Units of the following bloodlines can be summoned from any element and gain the linked ability or stat: Shield.

PAINFORGE

+1 attack power when damaged with poisoned, burning or hit by an ally.

As you can see clearly, this archon first of all gives your friendly monster the ability to throw ranged attacks by providing them Close Ranged ability. So, this archon will be very useful when you battle with a few ranged attackers. On the other hand, the bloodline dominion ability enables you to select monsters from other elements also, if they belong to the same bloodline as the archon, Ulund, in this case. Now, these same bloodline monsters will receive the painforge ability, so they will be gaining more and more power each time they get damaged by poison, burning or ally damage. It is indeed a powerful archon for your death monsters and I think it deserves a place in your arsenal. What do you think?
