Splinterlands | Preparing for the Upcoming Conclava Arcana Pre-Sale

Hello my Fellow Splinter Lovers,

The countdown has begun for the upcoming card-set Conclave Arcana in Splinterlands, and the game has also updated ifs shop tab with the countdown for the upcoming Conclave Arcana pack presale event. As I visited through Hive posts and in Discord chats, looks like the entire Hive community is super hyped up for this upcoming CA sale. If we look at the clock timer in the Conclave Arcana tab, it is ticking fast by the way, because we only have 2 days remaining until the Conclave Arcana Presale launches on April 22. Now, there will be hundreds of thousands of CA booster packs up for sale in this presale and as announced in their official post, any unsold packs after the 7 days pre-sale Period will be burned to maintain a long term high demand. I am pretty sure that at a thousand or more people are preparing right now for the upcoming presale and collecting money to buy DEC from all the sources they have.

If you look closely, almost every splinterlands fan is trying to buy at least a handful of standard packs, while the whales are planning to buy bulk, targeting the alchemy and legendary packs. Now like many of you, I am also collecting DEC with my utmost effort for this upcoming Presale and so far, I have only been able to collect 4.79 million DEC in my DEC wallet. My plan with the CA presale is simple, to collect at least 5 million DEC and buy packs in the presale. Mow. As you already know, there are lucrative rewards for top buyers in the presale leaderbaord, also there are more tickets, so more chances to get raffle rewards and not to forget, bulk buying packs under the presale period also earns you regular and fold foil cards of the 2 upcoming promo cards. So, in order to increase the total CA pack buying, I am also trying to contact with my splinterlands friends, so that we can go higher in the presale reward leaderboards and earn guaranteed rewards like titles and cards. Normally, I don't participate in pack sales and prefer to buy cards directly from market, but with this particular presale, I am interested particularly because of the newly introduced foils in this card edition like - Black Foil or Arcane foil prints and not to mention that I am also preparing with a strategy to focus on getting those precious ultra‑rare Black Foil and Arcane foil cards.

So in today’s post, we will be talking about the upcoming sale, how many Black Foils I can gather under certain circumstances in the presale and also the future of CA. So, if you are interested, let us take a dive without any further ado.

With the Conclave Arcana card-set edition, Splinterlands is introducing many new things to the game to make the gameplay even more strategic and interesting. One of these freshest changes are rebranding of ‘summoner’ into Archons. Yes, from now on, we, the players will be called summoners and the summoner cards will be known as Archon cards. Not only that, these new CA cards will also have bloodlines, and using Archons and monsters of same bloodline will gain you some advantage in the battle. So watch out for these new archons from Conclave Arcana and try to gather and upgrade your favourite ones before they go out of hand.

Moving on, lets talk about another amazing new in-game feature that is coming with the upcoming CA card-set, 2 Brand New Foil kinds. Yes, staring from Conclave Arcana, there will be 2 more foil editions in the game apart from the regular and hold foil. These 2 new foils are called Black Foil (BF) and Archano Foils that appear only with either a Black foil or a Gold foil card. These 2 foils will not only be rare and possibly costly, they will also come with a lot of advantages on the gameplay. These limited edition cards are expected to be the next favourite items among players and investors of Splinterlands.

Now, there will be 3 different types of Card packs available in the pre-sale as follows,

• Standard - 4000 DEC per pack.

• Alchemy - 12,000 DEC per pack.

Legendary - 24,000 DEC per pack.

There is also another type of conclave arcana pack named Starter pack, which will only include common and rare cards. But this pack will not be available on presale and can be bought when the general sale begins. Now, if you have been planning on buying some packs in the pre-sale, you may have given a long thought in this area - on which packs to buy more, if not all. Where the Legendary packs costs a lot, 24000 DEC guarantee you one legendary card, the Alchemy packs costs half then legendary packs and 12,000 dec per pack gives you a guarantee chance to pull one gold foil from each pack. Lastly, the standard packs will have the classic 5 set of random cards, with one card at least rare or above rarity. Now the question is which one you will choose or make a mix out of them 3 in the presale to get the most out of it.

For me, I am also preparing for the upcoming CA presale and till now, I have collected a total of 4.58 million DEC in my wallet, which costs 4,431$ as of current market. But with the rate DEC price is increasing, it will soon touch its soft pegged price of 0.001$ per Dec. I am aiming to collect total 5 million DEC to use in the presale, but to be honest on which set of cards to buy.

With the SPS price been rising high (currently 0.0139$) with the recent big burn from the official game and the upcoming sale demand, it is a good Time to convert sps to dec, if you are in need of some more for your presale purchase. I also used this opportunity to book some profit and used the first portion of my SPS power down, 16000 SPS to concert to DEC.

I have 64000 total SPS in my in-game wallet and when I saw the announcement of the SPS burn on X and quickly after witnessed a price surge in its price, I unstaked my SPS to be used a portion in the CA presale Purchase. I used the in-game swap option for the conversion and for my 16k SPS amount, I received 216,348.6 DEC after cutting the fees. With this extra DEC, surely I can buy mire packs now. Now, let me think on what packs I should buy before the time comes.
