Welcome back to another awesome and fresh Splinterlands post, and I hope you are all doing great and enjoying another wonderful day with family and friends. If you are also playing the game on a regular basis like me, then I think you have already noticed that the current ranked season still has around 8 days and 10 hours remaining, so there is still plenty of time to continue grinding battles and work toward those trophy goals. I also hope that all of you are steadily climbing the trophy ladder while collecting all those rewards along the way. Whether you are trying to reach a particular league tier and increase your season rewards, or make a serious leaderboard push and secure of of the top champion seats, I wish all of you the very best for the remaining days of the season.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league. My current season goal is to reach 3,380 trophies, so I still have some battles to grind before reaching that milestone. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 42 raffle entries collected. There are around 1 day and 17 hours remaining before the raffle ends, and my target is to reach 54 entries. Hopefully, I can collect the remaining entries before the raffle comes to an end.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel brought another small addition to my Sparks collection, and it also happily marks my 111th consecutive daily streak. I received 100 Sparks along with another 25 Sparks and gladly, this brings my total Sparks balance to 28,345. The daily streak is continuing nicely, so hopefully I can keep collecting those bonus Sparks in the upcoming days.

Apart from that, today I also opened 6 Foundation Packs that I won from the last 2 days' rewards and this time, I got 1 Legendary, 1 Epic, and 7 Rare cards, including 2 Archons. I also received 2 Gold Foil Common cards, while the remaining cards were regular Common cards. Overall, it was another pretty cool pack opening, I would say, with some nice higher-rarity pulls.

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be discussing the Pixie-knife Hurler. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this defensive ranged monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
The Pixie-knife Hurler is a monster type card that was forst first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Reward card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Ulund bloodline. It is classified as a Rare monster card and costs 7 mana to deploy, so you can easily play this card when playing medium to large mana limit matches. Pixie-knife Hurler uses Ranged attacks and comes with a strong combination of Armor, Health, and several defensive and support abilities that make this monster very special and useful as well. At maximum level, this monster possesses five different abilities, allowing it to attack from the frontline, evade physical attacks, strengthen allied Speed, weaken enemy Melee attackers, and heal itself every round. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues to know more about this monster.

At Level 2, Pixie-knife Hurler possesses 2 Ranged attack, 3 Speed, 2 Armor, and 6 Health. Even at its initial level, it already gains two useful abilities called CLOSE RANGE and DODGE.

CLOSE RANGE – Allows this monster to use Ranged attacks from the first position.

DODGE – Gives this monster a +25% chance to evade physical attacks.
At Level 4, Pixie-knife Hurler maintains 2 Ranged attack and 2 Speed while its Health increases to 7. At this level, it unlocks another useful team-support ability called SWIFTNESS.

SWIFTNESS – Gives +1 Speed to all allied units.
At Level 6, Pixie-knife Hurler maintains 2 Ranged attack and 2 Speed while its Armor increases to 3 and its Health remains at 7. At this stage, it gains ENFEEBLE.

ENFEEBLE – Reduces the target's Melee power by 1 after each successful attack.
At Level 10, Pixie-knife Hurler reaches its maximum form with 2 Ranged attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor, and 8 Health. At maximum level, it unlocks its final ability called HEAL.

HEAL – Each round, restores 1/3rd of the monster's maximum Health, rounded down.
I think Pixie-knife Hurler is an awesome defensive monster and very helpful overall, especially for mid-mana battles where you want a durable unit that can stay in the frontline for a long time. First of all, its combination of Armor and Health already gives it a strong defensive foundation, and when you add Dodge and Heal to the mix, it becomes much harder to remove from the battlefield. The Close Range ability is another important feature because it allows this Ranged attacker to continue attacking even when placed in the first position. This means you can use Pixie-knife Hurler as your frontline defender while still allowing it to contribute ranged damage. Then comes Dodge, which gives it a 25% higher chance to evade physical attacks, providing another layer of protection against Melee and Ranged attackers. Swiftness is also a useful team-support ability because it gives +1 Speed to every allied unit, allowing your entire lineup to attack faster. The Enfeeble ability further improves its defensive role by reducing the target's Melee power by 1 after each successful attack. This makes it particularly useful against strong Melee attackers because their damage can gradually become weaker. Finally, Heal is arguably the most important ability for its long-term survival. At maximum level, Pixie-knife Hurler can restore 1/3rd of its maximum Health every round, meaning a significant portion of the damage it receives can be recovered as long as it survives until the next round.
Overall, I believe Pixie-knife Hurler is a strong defensive choice for mid-mana matches. It may not have huge offensive power, but its ability to attack from the frontline, dodge physical attacks, weaken Melee attackers, support allied Speed, and heal itself gives it a very complete defensive package.
