Welcome back to another cool and juicy Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing absolutely great in your lives and enjoying another wonderful day with your loved ones. If you are also engaging with this game on a daily basis like me, then I hope your ranked battles have been going smoothly and that you are steadily climbing the trophy ladder while collecting all those cool daily and seasonal rewards along the way. The current ranked season still has around 12 days and 21 hours remaining before it comes to an end, which means there is still plenty of time left to grind battles and work toward those trophy goals. So whether you are trying to reach a particular league tier and increase your season rewards, or make a serious push for a position in the top champion leaderboard, I wish all of you the very best for the remaining days of the season.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, I am currently battling in the Gold I league with 2,740 trophies. As usual, my first objective is to reach the 4,200 trophy milestone, and after reaching that point, I will try to make another push toward the leaderboard. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 9 raffle entries collected. There are around 5 days and 20 hours remaining before the raffle ends, and my target this time is somewhere between 54 and 57 entries.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel brought another nice addition to my Sparks collection. Today marks my 105th consecutive daily streak, and I received 500 Sparks along with another 125 bonus Sparks. This brings my total Sparks balance to 27,988. I am getting closer to the 28K mark again, so hopefully the upcoming daily rewards will help me cross it very soon.

Apart from that, today I also opened 8 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last three days' rewards. This was actually a very interesting pack opening, as I managed to pull 4 Epic cards, 1 Gold Foil Rare card, and another 7 Rare cards, including 3 Archons. The remaining cards were all regular Common cards. Getting four Epic cards along with several Rare cards from only eight packs is definitely a very good result, so I am quite happy with today's opening.

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be discussing the Palimpsest Prophet. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this deadly low-mana monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
The Palimpsest Prophet is a monster type card that was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Reward card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Djinn bloodline. It is classified as a Common monster card, requiring 400 cc cards to be upgraded to max level, but making it much easier to upgrade compared to higher-rarity cards because of its availability. Palimpsest Prophet costs only 3 mana to deploy, so you can easily select this card when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones having little leagues ruleset. It uses Melee attacks with a special charge ability that can attack from any position, which is its best feature. Despite its extremely low mana cost, this monster comes with a good combination of Armor, Health, Speed, and Melee attack power. At maximum level, it possesses three different abilities, allowing it to evade physical attacks, attack from any position, and provide a useful stat boost to allied units after being defeated. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

At Level 3, Palimpsest Prophet possesses 1 Melee attack, 3 Speed, 2 Armor, and 2 Health. Even at its initial level, it already gains two useful abilities called FLYING and CHARGE.

FLYING – Has a +25% chance to evade physical attacks. This has no effect if the attacker also has Flying, and the monster is immune to Earthquake.

CHARGE – Allows this monster to use Melee attacks from any position.
At Level 5, Palimpsest Prophet improves to 2 Melee attack while maintaining 3 Speed and 2 Armor, with its Health increasing to 3. Although it does not gain a new ability at this level, the additional attack power and Health make this low-mana monster more useful in battle.
At Level 8, Palimpsest Prophet maintains 2 Melee attack and 3 Speed while its Armor increases to 3 and Health to 4. Again, there is no new ability at this stage, but the additional defensive statistics make it more durable and capable of surviving longer in the frontline.
At Level 10, Palimpsest Prophet reaches its maximum form with 3 Melee attack, 3 Speed, 5 Armor, and 4 Health. At maximum level, it unlocks its final ability called BLOODLINE TRIBUTE.

BLOODLINE TRIBUTE – When defeated, all allied units sharing this monster's bloodline gain +1 Speed, +1 Armor, +1 Health, and +1 Power to each shared attack type.
I think Palimpsest Prophet is a very powerful Common monster, especially when we consider that it costs only 3 mana. First of all, for such a low mana cost, it has a surprisingly good combination of defensive statistics. At maximum level, it reaches 5 Armor and 4 Health while maintaining 3 Speed and 3 Melee attack, which gives it enough durability and offensive power to provide good value in battle. Because of this low mana cost, I think it can fit into a wide variety of mana limit matches, especially when you need to fill an important position without spending too much mana. The Flying ability gives it another layer of protection because it has a 25% higher chance to evade physical attacks from non-Flying attackers. It is also immune to Earthquake, making it particularly useful in battles with that ruleset. Then comes Charge, which is one of my favourite abilities because it allows this Melee monster to attack from any position. So, unlike normal Melee attackers, you do not necessarily have to keep Palimpsest Prophet in the first position for it to remain useful. This gives you much more freedom when building your lineup and makes it similar to having a Melee attacker in a Melee Mayhem type situation. Finally, we have Bloodline Tribute, which activates when Palimpsest Prophet is defeated and provides allied units sharing the same bloodline with additional Speed, Armor, Health, and Power to their shared attack types. This means that even after this little monster is removed from the battlefield, it can still leave something useful behind for the rest of your team.
Overall, I believe Palimpsest Prophet offers a surprising amount of value for just 3 mana. Its defensive Armor and Health, Flying protection, Charge ability, and Bloodline Tribute make it a very flexible card that can be useful in many different battle situations. If you are looking for a low-mana monster that can contribute both during the battle and after its defeat, I think Palimpsest Prophet is definitely worth experimenting with.
