Welcome to another splinterlands post and I hope you all are doing well in your lives and spending an awesome day with your family and friends. For splinterlands players, I guess all of you are super busy right now and grinding hard into the battlefield. Because if we take a peek at the current ranked season’s clock timer, the time is short and the season is about to meet its end within next 4 day 21 hours. So, those of you who are actively playing the game in this season, its time to accomplish your goals, whether it is to enter a particular league tier or to secure a glorious spot in the top champion leaderboard. Because, the season end bloodbath is about to begin sooner than you think, where all the OG players from around the world will get super active and rule the battlefield with their unbeatable card collection and battle strategy. So, best of luck my fellow warriors and I hope you reach your goal sooner with ease.

On the other hand, if you are an existing player of this game and been grinding in this universe for a while, most probably you already know of and playing the new Frontier mode. But for those who don't know about it yet, the Frontier mode is a free-to-play game play mode in tanked section that doesn't have an entry barrier and thus, anyone can play this new mode and enjoy a taste of splinterlands without any second thought. This mode doesn't ask you to own or invest anything in form of cards or tokens (SPS, DEC etc) and you can start playing the campaign mode first to collect your first bunch of foundation cards and then use those cards to start your journey in frontier mode and continue earning foundation cards or packs. The most exciting thing about this gameplay is that you can sell your earned foundation cards or packs for crypto. Anyway, for me, right now in frontier mode, I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,400. This season I am busy irl and couldn't play much, so I just want to finish this season and play actively from the next one onward. Now, taking a look at the frontier raffle, around 3 days left for this ongoing raffle to end and so far, I have only collected 12 entries and max can get another 10-12. Let’s see if my luck manages to shine with such a little entry count.

Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I am about to discuss another amazing Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have seen in thumbnail already, today I will be talking about the Thraghun. So, if you are interested to know more about this monster, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Thraghun is a monster type card that was first seen in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana card-set. This monster comes from the Death element and it belongs to the Orc bloodline. By rarity, it is a rare type card, so you would need a total of 115 CC cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. This monster requires a whopping 9 mana cost to be used in battles, so ideally, this monster is suitable to be included in your match lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is dual melee + ranged and apart from a high attack power at good speed with a high combo of health + armour, this monster also features 5 abilities at its max level, which I am about to talk later in this post. Let us now take a further look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

At level 2, this mobster possesses a pretty good stats of 2 melee and 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 5 armour and 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets the Reach and Cripple ability from level 1 onwards and the Return Fire from this level onward. With all these 3 abilities, this monster becomes a badass even at its bronze league level.

Reach - can use a melee attack from second position.

Cripple - -1 to target's max health after each successful attack. does not affect units with immunity.

Return Fire - Return 50% damage to attacker (rounded up) when damaged by ranged attack.
When this monster reaches level 4, there it receives a increased health and now its stats become 2 melee and 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 5 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Weaken, which will help you to weaken enemy unit healths.

Weaken -1 max health to all enemy units.
As this monster gets upgraded to level 6, it stats gets upgraded even further to 2 melee and 1 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 armour and 7 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased speed and health will definitely help you to win more battles.
Finally, when you upgrade this beast monster to its max level of 8, there it possesses 2 melee and 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 armour and 8 health. Not only that, but it also receives a new ability at its max level called Poison, which upon being applied, can drain away 2 health from enemy units.

Poison - 50% chance to apply Poison after a successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round.
Last but not least, I think Thraghun is really an overpowered monster that has 2 types of high attack power, good speed, a seriously defensive combo of health + speed and a batch of 5 super abilities on top of it, which easily justifies for its high mana cost. So, I think this monster is a very good choice for high mana limit battle and deserves a place in your arsenal if you ate in for a competitive playing. What do you think?
Nice update @mango-juice and using this opportunity to wish you compliments of the season.Cheers!!!
He's great with Razi archon giving him Close Range ability. At level 2 he's good at Going the Distance ruleset.
Thanks for sharing! - @isaria
