Welcome back to another thrilling Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing pretty great in your lives and enjoying another wonderful and energetic day with your family and friends. I also hope your ranked battles have been going well and that you are steadily climbing the trophy ladder while getting closer to your seasonal goals one battle at a time. Whether you are trying to secure a higher league tier position, unlock better reward chests, or compete for a champion top leaderboard position, I wish all of you the very best. Anyways, looking at the current ranked season, this is a fresh new season just started and there are still around 15 days and 1 hour remaining before it comes to an end. Since we are still in the early half of the season, there is plenty of time left to recover from losing streaks, experiment with different battle lineups, and continue collecting valuable rewards before the season finally resets.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode in this game, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league with 3,060 trophies. As always, my first objective is to reach the 4,200 trophy milestone before thinking about anything else. Once I manage to get there, I will once again try to climb toward the leaderboard if I still have enough Battle Energy and enough time left before the season ends. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 33 raffle entries collected so far. There are still around 3 days and 23 hours remaining before the raffle closes, so I am once again targeting somewhere between 54 and 57 entries by the end of this week's raffle.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel rewards were fairly average. This time I received 75 Sparks along with another 15 Sparks as my daily streak bonus. I am happy to say that today marks my 59th consecutive login streak, and I definitely do not want to lose that valuable 20% reward bonus after maintaining it for such a long time. With today's rewards added, my total Sparks balance has now increased to 22,306 Sparks. It may not have been one of the biggest daily rewards, but every bit of Sparks brings me one step closer to future cosmetic or frontier battle energy purchases.

Apart from that, today I also opened 6 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last two days' daily missions. The opening turned out to be fairly decent as I managed to pull 1 Epic card, 1 Gold Foil Rare card, and another 6 Rare cards. Unfortunately, I did not receive any Archon cards this time, which was a little disappointing. Besides those, I also pulled 3 Gold Foil Common cards while the remaining cards were all regular Common cards. Overall, I am satisfied with today's opening because Gold Foil cards are always nice and shiny additions to the collection.

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let me introduce another interesting card from the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. As you have probably guessed from the title and thumbnail already, today we will be take a closer look at the Magmaforged. If you are playing ranked and collecting reward cards through ranked battles, this is definitely one monster worth paying attention to.
The Magmaforged was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. Just like the other reward cards from this edition, players can obtain this monster completely free by actively playing ranked battles and earning glint tokens and reward chests throughout each season. This monster belongs to the Fire element and comes from the Elemental bloodline. It is classified as a Common monster card, meaning players need a total of 400 CC cards to fully upgrade it to its maximum level. Magmaforged costs only 3 mana, making it an excellent choice for low and medium mana limit battles, including the ones having little leagues ruleset, but you can fit this tiny card comfortably into almost any lineup. It uses Ranged attacks and, at maximum level, unlocks three useful abilities that greatly improve both its stats and its abilities. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

At Level 3, the Magmaforged possesses 1 Ranged attack, 4 Speed, and 4 Health. Even at this early stage, it already gains its first ability called Pinpoint.

PINPOINT – Allied Sneak attacks cannot miss.
At Level 5, the monster improves to 2 Ranged attack, 5 Speed, and 5 Health. Although it does not unlock a new ability at this level, the improvements in both damage and speed make it much more reliable throughout battles, especially when trying to eliminate weakened enemy monsters.
At Level 8, the Magmaforged reaches 2 Ranged attack, an impressive 6 Speed, and 6 Health. At this stage, it unlocks its second ability called Return Fire.

RETURN FIRE – Returns 50% of the ranged attack damage (rounded up) back to the attacker whenever hit by a ranged attack.
At Level 10, the Magmaforged reaches its maximum form with 2 Ranged attack, an outstanding 7 Speed, and 6 Health. At maximum level, it gains its final ability called Backfire.

BACKFIRE – Whenever an enemy unit misses this monster, it immediately receives 2 Physical damage.
Last but not least, I think the Magmaforged is one of those reward monsters that may not look very impressive at first glance, but becomes surprisingly useful once you understand its strengths. The very first thing that caught my attention is obviously its incredible Speed. Reaching 7 Speed at maximum level while costing only 3 mana is simply amazing. Combined with a decent amount of Health, this monster becomes surprisingly difficult for enemy melee and ranged attackers to eliminate. Another feature that I really like is the Pinpoint ability. Players who enjoy building Sneak lineups will immediately appreciate what this ability offers. Since allied Sneak monsters can no longer miss their attacks, you can reliably focus down the opponent's backline every single round. Pairing this monster with one or two powerful Sneak attackers can often produce excellent results, especially under favorable rulesets. The Return Fire ability is another valuable addition. Whenever enemy ranged monsters attack Magmaforged, they receive reflected damage in return. Against ranged-heavy teams, this ability slowly chips away at enemy attackers while Magmaforged continues firing every round. Finally, I believe the Backfire ability works beautifully together with this monster's naturally high Speed. Since fast monsters already have a much greater chance of dodging physical attacks, Backfire creates an additional punishment whenever those attacks miss. Instead of simply wasting their turn, the enemy also receives physical damage, making Magmaforged even more annoying to deal with. Overall, I think this is an excellent low-mana reward monster that offers good damage, exceptional Speed, useful support for Sneak lineups, and solid defensive utility against physical attackers. If you regularly play low or medium mana battles, this is definitely a monster worth upgrading.
