Kaylia Silverleaf (1).jpg

Hello my fellow Splinterlands Warriors,

Welcome back to another fresh and juicy Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing pretty great in your lives and enjoying a calm and relaxed day with your family and loved ones. Now, if you are happen to be a fellow splinterlands player and ben grinding irrespective of the market panic and chart actions, then I hope you have already jumped into this ongoing ranked season and also, hopefully your battles have been going well and that you are hastily climbing up the trophy ladder and pushing towards your season goal and also collecting plenty of those shiny rewards along the way. If we take a quick look on the ongoing ranked season's timer, this season still has around 6 days and 1 hour remaining, so there is still enough time left for everyone to continue battling and improving their seasonal rankings before the reset arrives. I wish all of you the very best and hope you achieve your trophy goals sooner this season.

Talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode in this game, I am happy to share that I am currently competing in the highest Gold I league and have already reached my primary seasonal goal of 4,200 trophies just today. From this point onward, my objective is to protect my current position and, if possible, keep climbing toward the leaderboard. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 33 raffle entries collected. With around 3 days and 23 hours still remaining before the raffle ends, my target is once again somewhere between 54 and 57 entries.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel was another decent one. This time I received 300 Sparks along with an additional 60 Sparks from my daily streak bonus. Today also marked my 52nd consecutive login streak, and I am still enjoying the +20% reward bonus every day. Thanks to today's rewards, my total Sparks balance has now increased to 21,556.

Apart from that, today I opened 6 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last two days' daily missions. This time I managed to pull 1 Legendary card, 1 Gold Foil Rare card, and 7 Rare cards including 2 Archons, while the remaining cards were all regular Common cards. Overall, I am quite satisfied with today's pack opening results as its been long since I grabbed a gold foil rare.

Lord Alwen Graymane

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I would like to introduce another interesting card from the newest Escalation card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be taking a closer look at the Lord Alwen Graymane. So, if you are interested to know more about this monster, then let's start without any further ado.

The Lord Alwen Graymane was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Escalation mini cardset edition. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and comes from the Feliform bloodline. It is classified as an Epic monster card, meaning players need a total of 46 CC cards to fully upgrade it to its maximum level. This monster costs 8 mana to deploy, so it is ideal for medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this card is Magic, thus allowing it to deal damage directly to an opponent's health while ignoring armor unless protected by special abilities. Besides its respectable defensive stats, this monster also unlocks four excellent abilities that make it particularly effective against magic-heavy lineups. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

BRONZE

At Level 2, the Lord Alwen Graymane possesses a solid stat that consists of 1 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor, and 5 Health. At this level, it already unlocks two useful abilities called Scattershot and Amplify.

SCATTERSHOT – Magic and ranged attacks target a random enemy unit.

image.png

AMPLIFY – Increases the damage dealt by Retaliate, Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns for all friendly units by 1. This effect does not stack.

SILVER

At Level 3, the monster retains the same stats of 1 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor, and 5 Health. However, it unlocks another very useful ability called Dispel.

DISPEL – Removes all positive magic buffs from the target after a successful attack.

GOLD

At Level 5, the Lord Alwen Graymane becomes stronger with 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 5 Armor, and 6 Health. Although it gains no new ability at this level, the improvements in both attack power and survivability make it significantly more dangerous during battle.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

At Level 6, the Lord Alwen Graymane reaches its maximum form with 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 5 Armor, and 7 Health. At this level, it unlocks its final ability called Silence.

SILENCE – Reduces the Magic attack power of all enemy units by 1.

Last but not least, I think Lord Alwen Graymane is one of the best anti-magic support monsters introduced in the Escalation set. The first thing that stands out is its excellent Armor and Health combination, allowing it to survive multiple attacks while continuously dealing magic damage directly to enemy health from almost any position on the battlefield. Its biggest strength, however, comes from the combination of the dispel and silence abilities. The dispel ability removes positive magic buffs from enemy monsters after a successful hit, while the silence ability permanently reduces every enemy magic attack by 1. Together, these two abilities make this monster an excellent counter against magic-heavy teams. Another interesting ability is scattershot. Although the attack target is completely random, it can sometimes catch opponents off guard by unexpectedly hitting important support monsters hiding safely in the backline. While unpredictable, it often creates situations that work in your favour. Finally, the amplify ability provides excellent additional utility for your entire team. By increasing the reflected or return damage from abilities like Magic Reflect, Return Fire, Thorns, Retaliate, and Corrosive Ward, it makes defensive lineups even more dangerous to attack. Overall, I believe Lord Alwen Graymane is a fantastic support monster that combines respectable survivability, reliable magic damage, and several excellent anti-magic abilities into one very useful package.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about LORD ALWEN GRAYMANE. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
