Welcome back to another amazingly amazing Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing pretty well in your lives and enjoying an awesome day with your family and friends. Now, if you are one of those undefeated souls who are actively engaging in this Web3 card-based strategy game, then I hope you are actively playing in this ongoing ranked season as well. If you look closely at the season timer, there are still 11 days and 2 hours left before this season ends, so the clock is ticking fast, and it is time to give our best in the remaining battles. Whether you are playing to reach a particular league tier or for a glorious seat on the top Champion leaderboard, I hope you reach there quicker this time.

Now, talking about me, I am currently playing in the highest Gold I league with 3,360 trophies, and my next target is to reach 4,000 trophies. There are still several days left in this season, so I will keep pushing forward and try my best to reach that goal. Let's see how far I can go this time! Moving on to the weekly raffle, I currently have 9 entries, and there are still 6 days and 1 hour left before the raffle ends. My target is to reach somewhere between 54 and 57 entries this time. Last week, I managed to collect 60 entries, but unfortunately, I did not receive any rewards. That was a little disappointing, but we all know how raffles work, so I will keep collecting entries and hope for better luck this week.

Now, talking about my daily activity, today marks my 157th consecutive streak day in the daily wheel. I received 150 Sparks along with another 38 bonus Sparks, which brings my total Sparks balance to 22,935. Keeping this streak alive feels great, and I will continue playing and collecting rewards as long as possible. Every little reward counts, especially when we are trying to make steady progress in the game.

I also opened 9 Foundation packs earned from the last three days of Frontier mission rewards. This time, the results were absolutely exciting! I got 2 Legendary cards, 1 Epic Gold Foil card, 2 more Epic cards, and 11 Rare cards, including 3 Archons. On top of that, I also received 1 Common Gold Foil card, while the remaining cards were regular Foil Commons. Getting two Legendary cards in a single opening is definitely a nice surprise, and this batch of packs has given me plenty of reasons to feel happy about the rewards. Let's hope the next opening brings even more good cards!

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title above, today we will be discussing Kaori Matsune, a Magic attacker with the Snipe ability. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this Neutral monster and its abilities, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
Kaori Matsune is a monster-type card that was first seen in the game with the launch of the latest Reward edition card set. This monster belongs to the Drakoshan bloodline and comes as a Legendary card. It costs only 5 Mana, so you can use it when playing low to medium mana limit matches. It uses Magic to attack its opponents. For a 5 mana card, its Mana cost is quite reasonable, especially when we consider its decent Speed, good Magic attack, and useful abilities. At its maximum level, this monster possesses 3 abilities, making it an interesting choice for players who want to target enemy support units and reduce the effectiveness of opposing Magic attackers. As a Legendary card, you will need 11 CC cards to upgrade Kaori Matsune to its maximum level. Let's now take a look at its stats and abilities at different league levels.

At Level 1, Kaori Matsune possesses 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, and 4 Health, along with the Snipe ability. Even at its starting level, it has a useful way to target enemies hiding behind the first position.

SNIPE – Magic and Ranged units target the first non-Melee enemy unit behind the first position.
At Level 2, Kaori Matsune possesses 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, and 4 Health and also gets a new ability.

SILENCE – Reduces the Magic attack of all enemy units by 1.
At Level 3, Kaori Matsune possesses 3 Magic attack, 3 Speed, and 5 Health. Its Magic attack increases to 3, while its Health also improves. This makes it a more powerful attacker without increasing its Mana cost.
At Level 4, Kaori Matsune possesses 3 Magic attack, 3 Speed, and 6 Health. At its maximum level, this monster gains another defensive ability that helps protect it from certain negative effects.

IMMUNITY – Provides immunity to Magic debuffs and Cripple.
In my opinion, Kaori Matsune is a very useful Magic attacker because it combines a useful attack, decent Speed, and a good Health pool for only 5 Mana. When we are building a team, Mana cost is always something we need to consider carefully. We cannot simply fill our lineup with expensive monsters and expect everything to work perfectly. That is why I like monsters that offer a good balance between their cost and the abilities they bring to battle, and Kaori Matsune certainly looks like one worth considering. Now, the first thing I like about this monster is its Snipe ability. With this ability, it can target the first non-Melee enemy unit behind that position. This can be very useful when the opponent has placed important support monsters, ranged attackers, or Magic attackers in the backline. The Silence ability is another amazing feature and a strong counter to Magic-based teams. It reduces the Magic attack of all enemy units by 1, which can make a significant difference when the opponent depends heavily on Magic damage. Instead of weakening just one target, this ability affects every enemy unit with Magic attack. Finally, the Immunity ability makes Kaori Matsune even more interesting at higher levels. It protects the monster from Magic debuffs and Cripple, helping it avoid those negative effects and remain useful for longer. This is particularly helpful when facing opponents who rely on debuffs to weaken our monsters during battle. Combined with its 6 Health at the maximum level, Immunity gives Kaori Matsune some extra staying power.
Overall, Kaori Matsune looks like a solid Legendary monster for players who enjoy strategic Magic-based battles. Snipe helps target important backline units, Silence weakens enemy Magic attackers, and Immunity protects against certain negative effects. Its 5 Mana cost also makes it easier to fit into a variety of lineups without using too much of the available Mana. If you are looking for a monster that can both attack strategically and support your team against Magic-heavy opponents, Kaori Matsune is definitely worth keeping an eye on!
Nice you got gold foil epic card from packs!
Anyway Kaori Matsune is great card with silence ability!
I play with that legendary card when is possible because many players like to spam with magic!
That Snipe plus Silence combo at 5 mana is nasty against magic-heavy backlines. I own a copy of her too, she hits way harder than she looks on paper. Keep pushing for that 4000 trophies.
