Splinterlands | I ranked 39th in the Frontier Leaderboard
Hello Splinterlands fam!
Welcome to another awesome Splinterlands post guys and I guess all of you are doing pretty well in your lives and enjoying a fresh and beautiful day with your loved ones. For those of you, who love to play splinterlands on their daily free time, progress and build their account in this game, I guess by now, you have already collected your rewards from the last ranked season and stepped into the new fresh one already. If we look at the clock of this fresh new ranked season, there are still 13 long days remain for this ranked season to meet its end. That's a lot of time and I hope you have already set a new goal for yourself and started fighting in this new season. Now, whether you want to enter a particular league tier in this ongoing season and get those lucrative season end highest reached league tier reward chests, or you want to compete against the strongest players in the game and book a chair among the top leaderboard positions, I wish you all the best and just one piece of advice, time flies faster in this land of splinters. So, whatever you do, always make sure to maintain a healthy battle energy bar throughout the season and score as many wins as you can before the time runs out.
On the other hand, apart from playing the ranked season format, I guess most of you are also enjoying the frontier mode as well. This new free to play mode in splinterlands is getting much popularity and attracting more and more players, especially the new ones to try out the game without spending a dime and of course, taste the thrill and fun this game has to offer. Since the release of the new 4 jackpot cards, it has become even more interesting to keep playing and trying your luck everyday when claiming the daily rewards, if you get lucky and get your hands upon one of those cool rare cards. Anyways, for me, right now I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,040. Only 2 days have passed since the last frontier season end and gladly, I have already climbed up over 500 trophies and have also won a handful of foundation packs from the daily mission rewards. Looking at the upcoming weekly frontier raffle, I have collected a total of 53 entries this time and as I have already claimed all 9 entries today and the raffle is about to end later today, this will be by entry count for this raffle and I wish I finally win something this time. Let’s see if it finally gets true.
For me, after hustling for a long time, finally I have reached my goal in frontier mode. Yes, as you can see in the screenshot above, I end up at t!3 39th rank on the frontier leaderboard in the last season. As for the reward, I got myself 3 foundation packs and 5 raffle entries, which is not nothing if you ask me. I have been grinding to achieve this for a long time by now, and very happy to see my dream come true. I know the rewards for securing a position is not as great as in ranked format, but the achievement itself has given me a great joy and boosted more confidence in me to do even better next time. Maybe the 1st place one day in future, Who knows?
In the last season, I played a total of 357 frontier matches and out of those, I won 192 and made a decent 53.78% win rate. Hopefully, when I maximise all of my epic card levels, I can increase my win rate a little bit more. But epic cards are so rare to receive and even after opening a ton of them by now and also spent some bucks to buy some epic cards from market, I still need a bunch of epic cards to upgrade all my epic cards to max level. Now, as you can see from the screenshot above, the player holding the top 1 rank in frontier leaderboard has a whopping 5,360 trophies, which is more than 1000 than where I am sitting. Even to be in the top 5, I have to score at least 5000+ trophies, which is not at all an easy task. But, it is going to be my next goal from now. As I have successfully reached my goal this time and entered the leaderboard, I have decided to increase the level now and getting myself to top 5 in frontier leaderboard will be my sole mission from now on. Let’s see how it goes.
Before ending this post, let me share the outcome of 6 foundation pack that I just recently opened. Out of these 6 packs, 3 packs I received as leaderboard prize and the rest 3 I have won from today’s daily missions. When I completed all 3 missions today, I immediately went and opened all 6 of them in a single single transaction and without any further ado, let me quickly share what I got below.
As you can see from the images above, the outcome from those 6 foundation packs are not bad at all. In fact, I was indeed lucky today as one of them turned into a gold foil epic card and apart from it, I received 1 regular foil epic, 6 rares, 1 gold foil common and rest regular foil. No doubt I was really excited to receive the gold foil epic and the journey continues to find more of them in future, which chasing my new mission of reaching among the top 5 positions in frontier leaderboard.
