Splinterlands | I Finally Win a Card from Frontier Raffle

Now, if you also love to play splinterlands just like me and engage in this web3 strategic game on a regular basis, then I hope you are enjoying the game at its best, battling with other players and winning those shiny reward chests and SPS and building your account day by day. The last ranked season just ended a couple of days ago, and if we take a look at the current ranked season’s clock, there are still 11 days and 7 hours remaining for this ongoing season to meet its end. Most of you probably have already set a goal ans now fighting in the battle arena, and whether your aim is to enter a particular league tier and loot those lucrative reward chests or to compete against the top players in the game for a seat in the champion leaderboard, I wish you all the best and hope you reach your destination easily and quickly this time. Also, don't forget to overuse your battle energy bar, so that you don't miss them when needed the most. With another 11 days in hand, it's best to go with a balanced approach and maximise your earnings, so keep a calm head and pour all your weapons and strategies in the arena and try to win every match from now on.
On the other hand, if you are playing this for a while, I am sure that you are engaging with the frontier mode as well. This new mode is completely free to play and doesn't require any investment to start your journey in this gameplay mode. This mode is specially designed for those who want to taste the game without investing any money up front, and yes, it gives you the same thrill while enabling an earning potential as well. You can win foundation cards or packs in this mode by simply completing daily missions, and those cards or packs can be sold for dec tokens, so it's a pure win-win situation without any doubt. On top of that, recently the splinterlands team has announced a big update with the frontier mode and launched 4 rare jackpot edition foundation cards in this mode, which can only be earned from the daily mission rewards. This new update has now made the game even more interesting and I never miss a day playing this mode in the hope of getting those cool and rare foil cards. Anyway, talking about me, right now I am playing in the highest Gold I league tier in the game and my current trophy count is 3,280. In the last frontier ranked season, I successfully entered the leaderboard and earned myself 3 foundation packs and 5 raffle entries, which I have shared in my previous post. I secured the 39th place and I was fighting to enter the leaderboard for a long time, so I am very happy after finally accomplishing my goal. This time as well, I will try to enter the leaderboard, but I have increased my aim this time and will fight for the top 5 positions from now on. The main obstacle in my path isa handful of epic foundation cards that are still not updated to max level. Once I upgrade them to their max levels, I think it will reduce the difficulty a bit and help me reach my goal. Let's now see how much more time it takes for me to upgrade my whole foundation collection to max level.
Now, talking about the weekly raffle, it is another attraction of playing the frontier mode. The raffles happen every week, where rare back and gold arcane foil foundation cards are given out to frontier players randomly if one of their entries gets selected in the raffle. Now, for me, I have been playing the frontier mode since the beginning, but haven't won anything from the raffle until now. Well, that finally changed after the last raffle, as I have finally won something at last. Yes, when I went to view the result of the last raffle after it ended just recently, I was stunned to find that instead of the same boring sorry, you didn't win anything, a card had appeared on my screen. As you can see from the screenshot above, I have finally won a card in the raffle, and it's a gold foil arcane card. Thanks to splinterlands for finally answering my prayers.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the card that I received from the raffle is named Paprikash, a rare type card from the Life element that costs 6 mana to be used in battles. Gladly, I received the gold foil arcane foil from the raffle and as usual, it is a max-level card out of the box. There are currently no gold foil Arcanes listed for sale, which further proves their rarity. I already have a max level of this card in regular foil and often use this card in battles. Anyway, I am very happy to finally win something from the raffle and this has sparked even more energy in me to keep going. What about you?
