Welcome back to another awesome Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing absolutely great in your lives and enjoying another calm and peaceful day with your family and friends. Now, looking at the season clock, the current ranked season is almost over, with only around 20 hours and 11 minutes remaining. So, there is not much time left to make any major changes, but there is still enough time to enjoy a few more battles and finish the season on a good note, or one last push if you are so close but haven't reached your goal yet. I hope all of you are also having a good season and have managed to reach your desired league and trophy targets.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, as usual, I am currently sitting in the highest Gold I league with 3,920 trophies. This time, I have kept my season goal a little more realistic, and I am aiming for just 4,000 trophies. With only a small number of trophies remaining, I am quite close to reaching the target, so hopefully I can get there before the season ends. Looking at the weekly raffle, I currently have 57 entries, with around 19 hours and 11 minutes remaining before it closes. My original target has already been reached, and this time I am hoping to push it a little further to somewhere around 60 to 63 entries.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel marks my 118th consecutive streak day, and I received 100 + 25 bonus Sparks from the wheel. My total Sparks balance has now reached 31,092. It is always nice to see the Sparks balance slowly growing through the daily streak, and now my hand is itching to buy something in the Frontier reward shop.

Apart from that, today I also opened 6 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last 2 days' rewards. From these packs, I managed to get 1 Epic, 1 Gold Foil Rare, and 7 Rare cards, including 4 Archons, and the rest of the cards were Common cards. Getting four Archons and the Gold Foil Rare was another nice addition to the collection, so I am quite happy with today's pack results.

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title above, today we will be discussing Halo Wisp. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this interesting Sneak archer, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
Halo Wisp is a monster-type card that was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest reward edition cards. This monster comes from the Life element and belongs to the Elemental bloodline. It costs only 4 mana to deploy and uses Ranged attacks, which makes it a very interesting low-mana attacker and can also be used in the Little League ruleset. Being a Legendary card, it reaches its maximum level at Level 4 and needs to combine a total of 11 cards to upgrade to max level. It possesses three different abilities at maximum level that make this card particularly interesting, as it combines Ranged attacking power with the Sneak ability, while also having a good amount of Armor for such a low mana cost. Later, it gains Divine Shield and finally Armored Strike, giving it an additional way to turn its Armor into offensive power. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

At Level 1, Halo Wisp possesses 1 Ranged attack, 1 Speed, 4 Armor, and 3 Health. Even at its lowest level, it already has the useful SNEAK ability, allowing it to attack the enemy backline.

SNEAK – Targets the enemy unit in the last position.
At Level 2, Halo Wisp improves to 2 Ranged attack while maintaining 1 Speed, and its Armor increases from 4 to 5 while its Health remains at 3. At this stage, it unlocks another very useful defensive ability called DIVINE SHIELD.

DIVINE SHIELD – Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed.
At Level 3, Halo Wisp reaches 3 Ranged attack, 1 Speed, 6 Armor, and 4 Health. Although it does not gain a new ability at this level, its statistics improve considerably.
At Level 4, Halo Wisp reaches its maximum level with 3 Ranged attack, 1 Speed, 7 Armor, and 4 Health. At maximum level, it unlocks its final ability called ARMORED STRIKE.

ARMORED STRIKE – If armored, gains a Melee attack that deals damage equal to remaining Armor.
I think Halo Wisp is a very useful Legendary monster, especially considering that it costs only 4 mana. First of all, it has a good balance between offence and defence for such a low-mana card. Even though its Speed is not particularly high, it gradually reaches 3 Ranged attack and 7 Armor at maximum level. The 4 mana cost is probably one of its biggest advantages because it means you can fit this monster into almost any kind of mana-limit battle without having to sacrifice too much of your lineup. When you are dealing with a low or medium mana cap, every point of mana matters, and a card that can provide both attacking and defensive value for only 4 mana can become extremely useful.
The Sneak ability is another major reason why I like this card. Instead of attacking the enemy's frontline, Halo Wisp targets the monster in the last position. This gives you a way to put direct pressure on those weaker backline monsters that are usually protected behind a strong tank. You can make this strategy even more effective by combining Halo Wisp with one or two additional Sneak or Opportunity monsters and eliminating those monsters quickly before they get too many opportunities to attack. Then we have Divine Shield, which provides an excellent defensive layer. The first incoming damage is completely ignored, even if the attack would normally deal a huge amount of damage. However, the ability I find most interesting is Armored Strike. At maximum level, Halo Wisp can use its remaining Armor to perform an additional Melee attack. This means that its Armor is not only useful for protecting the monster, but can also become a source of additional offensive power. Because of this, you should try to keep its Armor intact whenever possible. The more Armor it has remaining, the more powerful this additional attack can become.
Overall, I believe Halo Wisp is a fantastic low-mana Legendary monster that offers much more than its 4 mana cost might suggest. It is not the fastest monster on the battlefield, but its combination of Ranged attack, Armor, and multiple useful abilities makes it a very flexible choice. If you are looking for a cheap monster that can provide both offensive pressure and defensive value, especially in low or medium mana battles, then Halo Wisp is definitely a card worth considering.
