Splinterlands | ENDURA BRUNE can weaken both Magic and Ranged monsters

I hope all of you are enjoying an amazing day with your family and friends and also playing this awesome game in your daily free time. Well, the crypto market is finally recovering from the last harsh dip and not Bitcoin or top altcoins but our splinterlands assets - SPS and DEC are also seeing a decent increase in their prices where SPS is being traded for 0.008$ per unit with a decent 0.80% increase in its price and DEC is being sold currently for 0.00076$ per unit with a good 4.50% increase in its price. Now, on the other hand, the ongoing ranked season in splinterlands has passed its midpoint a while ago and only around 4 more days remaining for this season to meet its end. So, I hope all of you are currently focusing on your season goals because not much time left in our hands.

Now, moving on, if you are an active soul on this game then most probably you have experienced the brand new update in this game. Yes, finally after waiting for a long period of time, Soulkeep has been launched and is now playable in splinterlands. Soulkeep is the new addition to the splinterlands universe and unlike the core splinterlands game system, the game is entirely new with a unique playing style. It is similar to Tower defence games where you have to build and upgrade different types of guard towers to stop enemy forces from entering your area. Not only towers but there will be hero characters as well in the game which can attack upon the enemy horde and help you to stop them. From what I have read and seen about Soulkeep on their official accounts on different social platforms, soulkeep will be a very interesting game to play and especially for those who are bored while playing the same splinterlands game, the Soulkeep will provide them with an entirely new battlefield to enjoy. Just like most of you, I am also very excited about Soulkeep and thinking to try playing this game soon after buying some cards.

Now, moving forward to the main topic of this post, today I will be talking about another amazing Rebellion monster which we often use or see on the battlefield because of its unmatched ability combo and decent attack power. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about ENDURA BRUNE. So, without any further ado, let’s jump right in.

ENDURA BRUNE

ENDURA BRUNE is a Rebellion edition monster card that belongs to the Water element. It is a range attack type monster that costs 9 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this card in your lineup and then play medium to high mana limit matches. It is a legendary type card, so it needs a total of 11 BCX cards to be upgraded to the maximum level. Now let us take a deeper look at its league-wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 1, this card possesses 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 10 health and it also gets the Amplify ability since its initial level. With the help of the Amplify ability, it will increase the damage the enemy cards get via Thorns, Magic Reflect and Return fire by 1. So if you can use this card with such monsters, you can easily do more damage to enemy Monsters via Amplify.

SILVER

At level 2, this monster gets the same 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 10 health and also gets a new ability called Silence. Now this is a pretty old and OG ability in this game which decreases all enemy magic monsters’ attack power by 1.

GOLD

When you upgrade this monster to level 3, it receives 2 ranged attack at an increased 4 speed with 2 armour and 10 health along with a new ability called Headwinds. Now with this new ability, this monster can reduce all enemy ranged monster’s attack power by 1. So now both magic and range enemy monsters would be scared to face this monster on the battlefield if you know how to use it properly.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this monster gets upgraded to its max level of 4, it gets 2 ranged attacks at 4 speed with 2 armour and 10 health but it does get another new ability added called Swift. Now we all know about Swift ability well and it adds +1 speed to all friendly monsters so now your lineup is faster as well thanks to this Brune.

BATTLE STAT

After playing for a while, I finally got an interesting match as it was a large 59 mana limit Match with all the elements except Fire allowed. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this battle - Trample, No Magic and True Strike and after thinking a little, I started building my lineup while respecting all the rules.

I chose the Possibilus the Wise as my summoner so that I could select 2 big monsters at the front and with the second monster getting reach ability and thus attacking together. I filled my front defence position with Arkemis the Bear followed by Diemonshark, Kulu Mastermind, Deeplurker, Endura Brune and Swamp Spitter at the end position. When both of the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Dragon Summoner Lilly Shieldpaw and at his front defence, he chose Grund followed by Carnage Titan, Venari Marksrat, Uloth Dhampir, Ancient Redwood and Goblin Tower at the last position.

As the match started, as per Lilly’s buff all of my Monsters started attacking his Grund and within my first 3 attacks including Brune’s, his Grund got killed down and as my Mastermind was the one who killed him down, it used its trample ability and attacked once again upon the Titan. Then my Bear and Deeplurker also attacked the titan and applied poison upon it. The enemy cards also attacked my Bear heavily and wounded him badly, but it was still alive and guarding its position.

In the second round, my Brune and Swamp attacked the Titan again and this time the Swamp finally killed it down. After killing down the front 2 defensive monsters, I literally broke his whole Lineup, because all rest 4 were archers who can’t attack while in the front position. So, I easily killed down those rest 4 monsters and hence, I won another amazing match and earned some SPS and Glint points.
