
I hope you all are doing fine in your lives and spending an awesome weekend with your friends and family. If you are a splinterlands player, however, most probably you are skipping some weekend fun to play this game right now and trying to score some wins in the battle arena. Because looking at this ongoing ranked season’s clock, currently we have only around 3 days and 20 hours in hand before the season meets its end. So, for those who are actively playing in this season, they already realise that there’s not much time left and thus, are trying to reach their goals if not already. Now, being a splinterlands player, every one of you should have set a goal for yourselves for this ongoing ranked season, whether it is to gather enough trophies and reach a particular league tier season to claim some juicy reward chests and increase your seasonal earnings, or to go big and compete against the top players in the game in order to secure a seat in the champion leaderboard. But with less than 4 days in hand, you have to pour more strength into the game if you haven't reached your goal already. Because if you have a decent experience with the game already, you do know how hard it becomes to win matches during the last days of a season end, since the whole arena witnesses a bloodbath as all the veteran players get super active during this time. So, all the best, my fellow warriors and I wish you reach your goals sooner and with ease.

On the other hand, if we take a look at the frontier mode, the splinterlands team has recently announced a huge update, especially for this mode, where they are redesigning the reward structure of the frontier mode and soon, we will be able to get rare foil cards from daily rewards. Yes, you don't have to wait for the weekly raffle to try your luck anymore, because with this upcoming update, new foundation cards can be found from your earned daily reward chests and if you get lucky, you may get rare black and arcana foil cards from these rewards. I am super excited to see this update because even after playing this new mode regularly for months now, I haven't won any rare foil cards. So hopefully, my consistent playing may earn me one of these cards as I play every day and open reward chests. Anyway, looking at my current stats in frontier mode, I am playing the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,660, which is a bit less than yesterday because today I lost a handful of matches. Let’s see if I can push myself again before the end of the season and touch my goal of reaching 4,000 trophies.

Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be discussing about another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Craniax the Quick. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card and its stats, abilities and features, then let's take a dive without any further ado.
The Craniax the Quick is a monster type card that was first discovered in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster card belongs to the Death element, and it comes from the Human bloodline. By rarity, it is a legendary-type card, so you would need a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade this monster to its max level. This monster comes with a 6 mana cost, so you can ideally use this monster in your lineup when playing medium to large mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is ranged and apart from a high-powered attack, this monster also carries a solid combo of health and armour with decent speed and whopping 5 abilities at its max level, which I will talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look in this monster’s league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

Even at level 1, this monster possesses decently powerful stats, which consist of 4 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 5 health. Not only that, but it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level, called Reckless and Final Rest. However, the Reckless ability is a bit tricky, so take special care when using this monster in battles.

RECKLESS - Each successful attack also deals 1 true damage to adjacent allied units.

FINAL REST - Allied and enemy abilities that trigger in defeat cannot activate.
As you upgrade this monster to level 2, it receives the same stats as its previous level - 4 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 5 health. But it does get a new ability at this level called Impede, which reduces the targeted enemy's speed.

IMPEDE - -1 to target’s speed after each successful attack.
When this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 3, it gets increased health and now carries a stat of 4 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but it also receives a new ability called Backfire at this level.

BACKFIRE - When an enemy unit misses, it deals 2 physical damage to them.
Finally, when you upgrade this beast to its max level of 4, it gets its attack power increased and now possesses 5 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 6 health. Apart from that, it also receives a new ability at its max level called Affliction.

AFFLICTION - 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units can not be healed.
Last but not least, this monster is a very powerful monster, fully equipped with unmatched attack power and other stats and also a bunch of abilities that make it too powerful. However, to balance things out, the Reckless ability has been added to this monster to use it carefully; otherwise, you will end up hurting its adjacent monsters. Overall, I think it is a handy card and should be in your collection if you play the game competitively. What do you think?
