Hi guys, this is Lucky Ali, and welcome back to my post. And I hope you are doing well. Today, Splinterlands' social media challenge has arrived. I want you to visit my previous Splinterlands social media challenge post to see the cards that I upgraded previously So I have upgraded cards like Relenor Cleaver, Commander Slade, Razorhound, And Ferexian Hero. Continuing this series today, I have some other cards to upgrade. This time, the cards are powerful, and two of them are gold. When you see these cards, you can notice that these cards are very important to upgrade to improve gameplay. All the cards are water series cards. I have one more thing to share, and that is very important, and the problem I can't stretch that topic, so I am going to cover it here. The thing is, I said goodbye to wild mode and shifted towards modern mode.
After playing wild for these years, now I have switched to modern. I have cards in modern mode too, but the only problem is high-level summoners. I found out the solution, and that was renting high-level summoners for modern so that they can summon max-level cards. I have to rent those summoners, and it costs me around 1000 to 1500 dec tokens, which is less than the wild pass fees, which are 2k dec tokens. So I am happy with this change. I can see that many players shifted to the modern way before, but I was continuously playing it. Also, modern cards change when new cards launch, so at that time, I will burn old cards and buy new ones, so it is simple. I am not saying the 2k dec fee is bad because, in the end, we are supporting the Splinterland economy, so it is not bad. But the thing is, why not use those DEC for renting new cards and exploring the new strategies? So this is my intention, also, the old card prices are going down, and I am a little disappointed, just a little, it is better to hold more SPs instead of cards. I just want to take those cards on rent for daily gameplay.
This is great for the first position, and as you can see, it is a gold card, so I have combined 4 cards to reach level 4. After upgrading this card, the stats are as follows: 4 melee attacks, 6 armors, 9 health, and 5 speed. This is a powerful monster; also, it has enfeeble, dodge, and deflect abilities. These abilities make this card more powerful. The mana is a little higher, but still, it is not bad because, in return, you are getting some nice benefits from this card. When this card placed at first position make sure you use tank heal card to heal health in each round. It has dodge ability and 5 speed which means ranged and melee attack monster's attacks can be evaded. So this is the most important benefit of this card.
I was holding 3 cards and combined 2 to reach the 3rd level. The gold card works differently, which is why you can see that each gold card has a 2-level upgrade as the default. After the upgrade, this card has 2 ranged attacks, 1 armor, 4 health, and 2 speed. Also, there is strengthen ability that adds 1 health to each card of the team. Since it is a ranged attack monster so it is not appropriate to use it in front; always try to use it in the last 2 positions. This is also a good card for the small mana battles since it has just 5 mana.
a gladius monster and a very powerful ranged attack monster. I had 6 cards and used 4 of them to combine and reach the 2nd level. After this upgrade, this card has 5 ranged attacks, 7 health, and 3 speed. Also, this card has a bloodlust ability, which is the specialty of gladius monsters because it is a default ability there. This card does not have close range ability, which means you should use it among the last 3 positions. 5 attacks are excellent and dangerous for the opponent. But you should know when to use this.
This is my favorite card because the attack of this monster is very dangerous. Also, this card is a magic attack monster with an electrified ability. I have combined 4 cards to reach level 2, and after this level up, this card has 4 magic attacks, 5 health, and 4 speed. No new ability has been added, but you can see that the speed is increased by 1. If you are playing in modern, and whenever you use water cards, then you must include this mastermind in your team. Make sure you upgrade this card further to turn it more powerful card. As I am doing. For maximum benefit use this card with the +1 magic attack archon or summoner.
Here I have upgraded Commander Slade (gold), Razorhound (gold), Edith Emberstar, and Shock Trooper, and these are the great cards, especially the last one. Also, I have changed my playing mode from wild to modern because I want to explore new strategies. Here, I wanna know your opinion on both topics.
