Calamity is a legendary Dragon unit and the third Conclave Arcana Conflicts airdrop card. In battle, Calamity is a powerful magic attacker with abilities including Expose, Life Leech, Last Stand, and Shapeshift. In today's post, we will go over her lore, stats & abilities as well as show a battle where she is used effectively.
Lore
Calamity began life as an axolotl egg that somehow found its way into the brood of Sheng Xiao, a powerful lung dragon. When the egg hatched, Sheng Xiao adopted her, protected her and taught her how to use magic. Despite possessing the incredible power of a dragon, Calamity is still a salamander, making her curious, chaotic and lacking in self control.
Stats and Abilities
Calamity is a four mana, legendary dragon card. At maxed level she deals three magic damage, has ten health and four speed. She has four abilities and one debilitation. Shapeshift allows her to be treated as any bloodline, Life leech increases her health as she damages the enemy, Expose removes defenses like deflect, void, forcefield, etc., Last Stand increases all her stats if she is the last one surviving. Her debilitation is Electrified, which deals damage to allied units from round two.
Featured Battle
The featured battle has the Shapeshift Happens ruleset. Player sakurakko wisely took advantage of the ruleset by using the Death archon Razi Clanktrap. His bloodline dominion grants Painforge ability to all his units. Together with Calamity's Electrified, this means that his magic units gain power starting from round two.
His enemy had a higher level archon and units. Sakurakko's team was losing in the early rounds. However, his increasing power soon caught up with the enemy.
