The New Fire Splinter Cards in Starlight Set

Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

Splinterlands team with the help of @iblast just announced a new set in the Frontier.

This new Foundation collection introduces 36 unique cards: 30 Units and 6 Rare Archons, five collectible foil types, three exclusive pack options, and a reward system that puts Frontier Ranked battles and special tournaments at the center of the chase.

These new cards will surely shake the meta in the Frontier mode and today, we'll check out the Fire splinter cards in the set.

Khrystyna Skyseer (archon)

Khrystyna Skyseer is a four mana archon that does not give any buffs. The new archons cost lower in mana than the original Frontier archons in exchange for not granting any buffs.

Mirela Veils (common)

Mirela Veils is the common card. It's a three mana none attack card but it looks like a good low mana tank. At maxed level, it has seven health, three speed and has Magic Reflect ability to counter magic attacks. Watch out, water teams.

Scorchpion (rare)

Nice word play. It's a scorpion in the Fire splinter, hence the name. It's six mana and at maxed level it deals two range damage, has four health and one speed. It does have Close range to complement it's range attack.

Fire Trinity (epic)

Fire Trinity is a seven mana card. At maxed level, it deals two range damage and is fast with four speed. On defense it has two armor and four health. It has a new ability called Focus card that buffs the range unit behind it.

Corvus Shadow Prowler (legendary)

Corvus Shadow Prowler is a nine mana card. At maxed level, it deals three magic damage, has five health and three speed. It has two abilities Scattershot and to counter flying units, Snare. It brings another magic damage dealer in the Fire splinter.

There you have it. The five cards under the Fire splinter that will add excitement in the Frontier. In my next post, I'll go over the Water splinter.
