Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
I just upgraded my King Erminaz Twincleaver to level two. He is the third Arena Vanguard that I managed to level up. I thought to make an evaluation of each Arena Vanguard card at this level. Currently I have the following cards.

Jolius Blast, Buns the Unseen and now King Erminaz Twincleaver are at level two while the others are not far behind. I'll rank them from the bottom up. These are my opinion and others may have another view.

Ratbound Corsair is at the bottom and rightly so. He doesn't get any new abilities after levelling up to two. Worse, he only has two abilities and his second can only be obtained at maxed level. Because of this, he's at the bottom of my rankings.

Gorm gets a second ability at level two. However, I feel that Magic Reflect is not as useful as others. It's designed to punish magic attackers but it's better if given to tanks rather than a back line unit like Gorm. It could work against Sorrow Harvester but it's highly situational in my opinion.

Vaelok gains a debuff ability, Demoralize. It's very useful that affects all melee attackers of the enemy team. However, for me, Vaelok has no utility yet. It's because I don't have a dragon archon in the Frontier placing him near the bottom of my rankings.

The Orc unit increases his attack to three and gains the Dodge ability. This is a great upgrade. On the other hand, I hardly use the Life splinter in the Frontier making his utility minimal. That's why he's ranked low inspite of his great upgrade.

Khan Feywest gains the Divine Shield ability at level two. It's a strong defensive ability that makes him immune to first damage. It doesn't matter if the damage is eight melee or higher. It will not affect him at all making this ability important. It can become crucial in close fights where one damage can spell victory or defeat.

Being a neutral card, Buns the Unseen has the most utility among the Arena Vanguards. He's already a great second tank with Reach ability and thick armor. At level two he gains the Void Armor ability making him a good tank to counter the Water magic team. This makes him a very valuable card that could take the top spot in other's ranking.

Jolius Blast by @iblast is my favorite card among the bunch. The character design is dope and his strength as a tank cannot be denied. He gains the Enrage ability that increases his attack and speed when his health gets decreased. Paired with Barthalamas who gives him a speed buff, he dodges physical attacks giving him an additional defense. He already has Void that decreases magic attacks so Enrage gives him an attack and defense boost.
There you have it, the rankings are based on my opinons and others may have differing views. I'll keep collecting them and hopefully max them in the future. I'll do another ranking at maxed levels.
