Oblivion is the sixth legendary Escalation Conflicts archon to be released. It will be live starting the 2nd of November where it's available in the Conflicts page.

Stats and Abilities

Oblivion is a three mana, legendary Dragon archon. It grants either of the following to two units.

Sneak: Targets the enemy unit in the last position.

Apex Strike: Targets the enemy unit with the most power.

Halving: Give Halving to 2 units (immediately reduces each affected unit’s attack power by 50%, rounded down). This applies the reduction directly—it does not give those units the ability to halve another unit’s attack power.

Example: A unit with 7 attack power is reduced to 3. Its attacks do not apply Halving to other units.

From the description, I understand that Halving should be given to enemy units and not your own.

Since it's a three mana archon, it will be great in low mana battles where every unit counts.

Strategies

There are many battle strategies that can be derived from this archon. First you can apply Sneak to strong melee units that cannot attack from afar. You may also apply Apex Strike to any of your units to target the enemy unit with most power. On the other hand, you may want to debuff your enemy's attack by giving them Halving.

Fiend Units

Aside from Dragon units, Obsidian can summon all Fiends in battle. I will list here some of them. I'll omit the neutral ones since it can be summoned anyway without needing to be a Fiend bloodline.

Darkguard Helion

Darkguard Hellion is a versatile card with five abilities. It's a good unit to use in Earthquake and Poison rulesets because of its flying and scavenger abilities. It also has Bloodlust that increases its stats when it defeats an enemy.

Barashkukor

Barashkukor is a legendary card with high magic attack power. It's a great card overall that also has good defense and speed.

Avarisdeus

Avarisdeus is another card that will be great in Earthquake ruleset. It also has Double Strike ability.
