My New Legendary Card Nessa

Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

I recently got Nessa from legendary reward chests. She is a nine mana magic damage dealer. In today's post, we'll go over her lore, her stats and abilities as well as show a battle where she's used effectively.

Lore

Nessa is an Owlkin who refused to accept her species' traditional ban on flying. Instead of giving up, she invented a glider that allowed her to take to the skies.

At first, her fellow Owlkins were skeptical, but Nessa eventually proved that her invention had practical value in both battle and scouting missions. She now uses her ability to glide through the air to attack the followers of the Conclave Arcana, catching enemies off guard from above.

Stats and Abilities

Nessa is a nine mana, Life splinter card. At maxed level she has excellent stats dealing four magic damage, has seven health and four speed. She also has five useful abilities. She can fly and would be great in Earthquake rulesets. She has True Strike meaning her attacks will never miss. Her Pinpoint ability means her Sneak attacker team mates will not miss. She also has Execute that will finish enemies she attack whose health goes down to two or below. Finally she has Relentless Strike that means Void will not work on her.

For Silver bracket players, we can also get a lot from her at only level two. She deals three magic damage and has three strong abilities.

Featured Battle

In this battle, only the Life splinter is available. I had the Frontier archon that grants an extra armor to units. Then my tank was one mana Halfling Refugee. In second position, I had eleven mana Ulundin Overseer. He has high defensive stats but no attack of his own. In third, I had Shiraza to grant two magic attack to none attacking units like Ulundin Overseer with her Weapons Training ability. In fourth, I had another none attacking unit, Nimbledook Explorer. She has the Protect ability that grants two armor to her team mates. She also has Armored Strike ability turning her armor into an offensive melee weapon. In fifth is Nessa. Her three magic attack certainly adds offensive muscle to the team. Lastly, Gallicus takes the sixth position. He can draw attacks with Taunt ability.

The enemy also had the Frontier archon with the sturdy Silver Shield Sentry in tank position. He also had Olivia of the Brook with her Mimic ability in the team.

My team had durable tanks and powerful magic damage dealers. These two were already a big factor. Then I also had additional defense because of the armor buff that blocked a lot of physical attacks. Although the enemy had a good team, mine prevailed with better synergy.
