My Guild Brawl Update
Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Brawl update: We are still fifth in this brawl same as last week. Still needs improvement but at least we didn't go further down the rankings.
Guild Rank and Personal Performance
We are still in fifth place. The top guilds are showing the way which is fair enough. We just need to get our act together and maybe we'll improve our ranking.
On a personal note, my score improved with a seven and two win rate. I had two losses in this brawl which is good. Every guild member who joined in and contributed earned 5.6k Merits and 56 SPS for their efforts.
Featured Battle
Poison ruleset with Junior Varsity included. I turned to my favorite Earth and elf team once again and this time, the gladiator card is Fina Voxom. My strategy was around the strength of Fina who has a lot of offensive abilities and as an elf, also gets Execute. My tank was one mana Halfling Refugee followed by Virid Venomancer who grants the tank a Shield ability. Then my damage dealers were all elves. This includes Aranduriel who has Painforge ability that will benefit from the Poison ruleset.
The enemy had the Life splinter. He had no gladiator card but his team is still competitive. He had a good dual tank combo and also had Olivia of the Brook among his units. Olivia is the first card to have the Mimic ability and I remember her stacking loads of abilities the longer the battle goes on. The enemy had a good line up but it wasn't built for survival which the ruleset demanded. His low health troops got damaged by Poison and were quickly eliminated.
