Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just finished brawl. We had terrible brawl this time. We are in seventh rank near the bottom of the standings. Last week we were in sixth and the week before, in fifth. We are just going lower in the standings and it's not good. In today’s post, I’ll break down our overall results, highlight my personal performance, and showcase one of my favorite battles.

We finished lower compared to last week's sixth place. It's not a good feeling to place in the lower end of the standings but that's where we are at the moment. I hope we can improve in the next brawls.

My performance was still decent. I won six battles and only lost two. I'm happy that I can contribute consistently in our brawls. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 3.7k merits and 41 SPS. It's a huge chunk of my weekly SPS earnings so I make it a point to join brawls and have a good performance.

The battle was a had the Lost Magic ruleset. I decided to turn to my range team in this battle. The archon I chose was Razi Clanktrap. He grants the Close Range ability to all range units making him my second favorite archon in the Conclave Arcana set. The rest of the team were as follows.
Xulax Nightwind is probably the best tank among the gladiators. Mine is at level two and deals four melee damage, has seven armor, seven health and three speed. He has defense against magic in the form of Void Armor ability. Further, he has Thorns to return damage to melee attackers. He is a complete package in terms of tanks.
Thraghun is one of my favorite second position unit especially when paired with Razi Clanktrap. He deals dual damage of range and melee. He has the Reach and Return Fire abilities making him a great unit in Going the Distance ruleset.
Chaos Battlemage deals three range damage, has an armor, five health and is fast with four speed. He has Piercing and Rebirth abilities that are very useful.
Deep Delver deals three range damage, has an armor, four health and two speed. He has Rust ability that decreases the enemy's armor by two. It's a strong ability especially since we will be using physical attacks in this battle.
Meriput Slinger deals four range damage and can slow down his target with his Impede ability.
Magnificent Mollusk is the highest damage dealer in the team with six range attack. While my other units apply debuffs to the enemy, the Magnificent Mollusk is ready to eliminate them with her huge attack.
The enemy used Life composed of mostly melee units. It's a good thing that all my units concentrate their attack on the first position unit. This made the battle easier since my attacks were not divided. My team won this battle without losing a single unit.
