Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog! The Arena Vanguard cards are a new set in the Frontier created by Splinterlands content creators. Although their rarity is rare, they are stronger than the regular Frontier cards, even stronger than legendaries. In today's post, we'll go over two of the most popular Arena Vanguards, review their stats and abilities and show a battle where they dominate.

Jolius Blast is from @iblast. A max level Jolius is a beast an unmatched in the Frontier. He has three melee damage which could increase to four when he is enraged. He decreases magic attack received with Void and finally, he has Retaliate to counterattack against physical attacks. He also has a huge health for sustainability.

Buns the Unseen is from @bunsbagsandcaps. At maxed level, he deals two melee damage and has three speed. He has great defense with eight armor and six health. He has Reach ability which makes him a perfect partner to Jolius. He has Void Armor to shield against magic attacks and his best ability is Silence, debuffing the enemy's magic.
These are the perfect duo against the meta magic team in the Frontier. However, they are also good against physical attackers due to their high defensive stats.

I wrote about this trio in a previous post. Jolius and Buns are already strong together but add in Eris Bimblenok with his Inspire ability and three magic attack and you got an unbeatable team.
Their hapless enemy was unfortunately me. I had my usual magic team that has a high win rate. However, with the coming of the Arena Vanguards, the meta in the Frontier is changing. Whoever has a maxed level Jolius and Buns will dominate the Frontier.
On the flipside, these cards are hard to come by. I got my copies from the jackpot and one was a gift. They're already sold out in the Sparks shop so the only way to get them is from the market and they are not cheap.

It will probably cost around $100 to max the two cards. If you're willing to spend some money like alborzrad then you'll have fun winning battles in the Frontier.

Start your Splinterlands adventure today with my referral. You can play the game for free in the Frontier Mode or take your game to the next level by purchasing a spellbook.
