Legendary Nullwrought Joins My Death Team

Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

Nullwrought is a legendary Death unit that I got from reward chests. He's a nice addition to my Death team because he is a low mana Sneak attacker. I currently have him at level one and I intend to raise him up to higher levels to gain more power and abilities. In today's post, we'll go over his stats and abilities as well as show a sample battle where he helped the team achieve victory.

Lore

Not much lore released on Nullwrought. The splinterlands game site has the following:

Nullwrought elementals are denizens of the lower planes born of death, chaos, and darkness. Their presence is a curse of unmaking: wounds refuse to mend, life once lost is never restored, and death itself loses all meaning.

Holy prayer or necromantic rite, neither matters. The nullwrought elemental's power renders both meaningless.

They are voids given form, erasers of balance, bound only by the will of the conjurer who dares to leash them. When dismissed, they collapse into nothing, leaving neither corpse nor ruin, only the hollow certainty that what was meant to end has simply returned whence it came.

Stats & Abilities

At maxed level, Nullwrought has superb stats and abilities. He deals five melee damage and has threee speed. On defense he has an armor and six health. He boasts of four useful abilities. He specializes in disrupting enemy teams and attacking the back line thanks to its Sneak ability. It also has the Affliction ability, which prevents enemies from being healed and Demoralize, which reduces the melee attack of all enemy units.

One of Nullwrought's most interesting traits is its Bloodline Tribute ability. When Nullwrought dies, it grants a special bonus to allied units that share its bloodline, encouraging players to build teams around Elemental units. On the other hand, I don't have any Death elemental melee unit to pair with Nullwrought.

Featured Battle

The battle had the Up Close & Personal ruleset where only melee units can be used. In addition, only Death splinter is available for use. In such conditions, I appreciate having more units in my collection as it gives me more choices like in this battle. Nullwrought is crucial because he is a melee unit that can attack from afar.

I used the Frontier archon who debuffs the enemy health. The rest of the team were as follows.

Doomshield Warden

Doomshield Warden has become my main tank. He is a neutral card that can be used in all splinters. He deals four melee damage and has good defensive stats. He also has the Flank ability that allows another melee tank to play second position and attack from there.

Grim Bonewhip

Grim Bonewhip has the Reach ability that allows him to attack from second position. He also has Rust that decrease the enemy's armor. This is crucial in this battle since only melee units are allowed.

Ironwing Juggernaut

Ironwing Juggernaut is a low mana card that packs a lot of utility. He deals two melee damage and can attack from any position. He also has decent defensive stats that allows him to play tank if needed.

Bren Palesworn

Bren Palesworn is a legendary card that has the Sneak ability that pairs him nicely with Nullwrought. Together, they can harass the enemy's rear units with their sneak attacks. He also has the Shapeshift ability that allows him to benefit from Nullwrought's Bloodline Tribute ability.

Nullwrought

Nullwrought's sneak attacks is a good combo with Bren Palesworn. They can decimate the enemy's rear unit.

New Beluroc Aegis

New Beluroc Aegis is important in this battle because of his Taunt ability. He can draw attacks away from my tank. He has decent defense to absorb attacks and allow my tank to live longer.

The enemy had Razi Clanktrap archon and has a Runi in his team. Inspite of having a strong unit, he was at a disadvantage since a lot of his units cannot attack from afar. He also lacks abilities to buff his team or debuff his enemy.

Congrats on the win 👏🏾 your team composition made good use of the available ruleset and pairing two Sneak attackers was a smart strategy. In addition, wishing you more legendary pulls in future reward chests. i also think Nullwrought definitely looks like a card worth investing in.
