King Erminaz Twincleaver: The Dodgy Sneak Attacker

Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

King Erminaz Twincleaver is a rare Life splinter Orc introduced as part of the Arena Vanguard Frontier set. Like most Arena Vanguard cards, he is stronger than your run of the mill Frontier card and maybe even stronger than legendary cards. In today's post, we'll go over his lore, his stats & abilities as well as showcase a battle where he's used effectively.

Lore

King Erminaz Twincleaver was an ambitious Orc who valued strategy and conquest as much as strength, leading his clan to underestimate him. After surviving a disastrous campaign, he was branded cursed and exiled. However, years in the frontier transformed him into a powerful warlord who gathered warriors and outcasts under his banner. He forged twin greatblades from fallen weapons, mastering a devastating fighting style that allowed him to strike twice with incredible speed. When he returned to Orc territory, Erminaz defeated the chieftains who had cast him out and claim the rulership he believed was his destiny.

Stats and Abilities

King Erminaz Twincleaver has a mix of offensive and defensive abilities. Let's start with his stats at max level. He deals three melee damage, has six health and extremely fast with five speed. He starts with a Sneak attack, allowing him to play in the back. At level two he gains a defensive ability, Dodge. He utilizes his speed and ability to avoid physical attacks. At maximum level, he gains his most offensive ability yet, Double Strike. His damage output raises to six.

Most of us would probably get a level two and he's good enough at that level. His attack is already at three and he gains the Dodge ability along with Sneak.

Featured Battle

This is a battle between to Life splinter teams. One has King Erminaz while the other doesn't. You can clearly tell which team has the advantage. King Erminaz has the Sneak ability and combos well with Sherringham Logger to decimate the enemy's back line. Having Dodge ability at level two gives him that defensive advantage to avoid incoming physical attacks. Place him in the rear and he can guard against enemy sneak attackers.
