Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Aimee Whisperwind is a Common Water unit that was one of the Frontier Jackpot Cards. Unlike most Water cards that rely on magic damage, Aimee is a melee attacker designed to eliminate vulnerable enemy monsters. She can only be obtained as a jackpot reward from Frontier daily rewards, making her much rarer than standard Foundation cards. In today's post, we'll go over her lore, stats & abilities and show a sample battle where she is used as part of the team.
Aimee Whisperwind is a leonine hunter from the open plains of the Northwest Lowlands, where she learned to stalk prey with patience and stealth. Every third year, she travels with her pride to the bustling city of Feranon to trade their handcrafted goods in the vibrant Azure Bazaar. Captivated by the city's tidal architecture and the magnificent fountain of the goddess Xelia, Aimee finds beauty in its ever changing rhythm. Though she cherishes the steady grasslands of her homeland, her visits to Feranon remind her that resilience can also be found in embracing change.

Initially, Aimee is not better than Vengeful Monk who has the same stats and abilities at lower mana cost. However, she gets better at level three where her attack gets up to three. At maxed level she gets another ability, Fury, making her a deadly threat against units with Taunt ability like New Beluroc Aegis.
Being a jackpot card, she is not easy to level up. However, if you really want her, she costs around $0.26 a copy. It will get much expensive if you want to max her out since she needs sixty BCX.

The battle occured in the high level Gold League. Player thebigghigg had the Water splinter. He had a strong dual tank combo of Doomshield Warden and Blue Wyrm Travesty. Together, they pack a total of thirteen melee damage per turn while having excellent defense. In third position, he had Skritka, a legendary card with two attacks of range and melee. In fourth is Stampeding Calf, a low mana card that deals two melee damage. In fifth is Aimee Whisperwind who deals three melee damage and has the Opportunity ability to hunt the enemy with lowest health. Lastly, he had the monster Magnificent Mollusk who deals a huge seven range damage while debuffing the enemy's melee attackers.
His enemy also had Water but had a weaker two tank combo of Coralforged and Commander Slade. He had decent damage dealers in the back but they are outclassed by thebigghigg's team in terms of quality.
It's fun to see Aimee Whisperwind doing well in Modern mode. Get her to level three and she can compete as well as the other meta cards.
