Little League - Battle Mage Secrets [EN-PT/BR]

Little League is a rule set that allows the use of cards with a mana cost below 4 only. This greatly limits the number of options and strategies to be built (especially if it comes combined with another limiting rule), but the principles and fundamentals usually remain the same.



Little League rule set

My favorite strategies consist of increasing the speed of my allies and reducing that of the opposing teams. This gives me an advantage when attacking, as it is this attribute that determines the order of attacks. And if you manage to make all your cards attack first, there's no way your opponent can defend themselves.

Also, adding the ability Blind, combined with Dodge, is very effective for dodging attacks.

Blind + Dodge are a powerful combination, Increasing the chance of dodging an attack by 40%.

Another thing I like to do is try to use cards that have healing abilities, whether it's their own life, the tanker's, or even the armor.

Combining all the ideas is difficult, so it's interesting to analyze all the upcoming rules and then try to make the best decision.

I faced a battle where there were two more rule sets, in addition to the one I mentioned earlier, for the weekly challenge. The first makes it so that summoners don't give any buffs or debuffs, while the second reduces the maximum life of each card when it suffers an attack.

With this, I knew that it wasn't possible for the opponent to receive any additional armor from any summoner, which would make it easier for Ranges and Meeles to directly attack the life of the opponent's cards. There was a possibility that the opponent could bring in a monster that could add such an attribute to his allies, if he played with the Death element, because the other one that would give this opportunity, which was Earth, was not available. It's worth noting that this battle took place in Modern ranked mode, where the number of cards that can be used is limited to the last two collections, Rebellion and Chaos Legion.

I've added a tanker that not only has a good amount of life, but can also hold off magic attacks.



Right behind, I've added two monsters that increase the speed of my allies. In addition, the first one removes 2 armor points from the opposing team.

Finally, I added a trio of Ranges, which would be responsible for eliminating all enemies.

This is how the battlefield looks.

My opponent brought 2 monsters with Sneak, which attack the last monster in the back row. As a result, my ranges were vulnerable, and this could have caused my defeat. However, I had the speed advantage and could attack first.

In the first round, I found myself outnumbered. I had eliminated my opponent's tanker, while he had eliminated mine, as well as one of my three attackers. However, the monster that took the front position has a lot of armor and could hold off many attacks, while the opponent had no major defenders left.

At the end of the second round, the situation was reversed. The sneaks hadn't managed to eliminate my second attacker, and there was no longer any chance of that happening on their part, since one had been eliminated and the other had taken over the front line. The game seemed to have turned in my favor.

In round 6, I won the battle, with 2 cards left on my side. It was a battle in which speed proved very important.

As you can see in this battle, following strategies that are common in battles with a high amount of mana is also possible in the Little League rule set, where the amount of mana is limited indirectly. By using 2 cards with Swiftness ability, which increase the speed of all my allies, I was able to have the advantage of being the first to attack in every round, which brought me victory.

Little League é uma regra, que permite o uso de cartas com custo de mana abaixo de 4 apenas. Isso limita bastante o número de opções e estratégias a serem construídas(especialmente se vier combinada com outra regra limitante), mas os princípios e fundamentos normalmente seguem os mesmos.



Regra Little League

Minhas estratégias favoritas, consistem em aumentar a velocidade dos meus aliados, e reduzir a das equipes adversárias. Isso me dá vantagem na hora de atacar, pois é este atributo que determina a ordem dos ataques. E se você conseguir fazer todas as suas cartas atacarem por primeiro, não há como o seu oponente se defender.

Além disso, adicionar a habilidade Blind, combinada ao Dodge, é muito eficiente para se esquivar de ataques.

Blind + Dodge é uma combinação muito poderosa, aumentando a chance de se esquivar de um ataque em 40%.

Outra coisa que gosto de fazer, é procurar usar cartas que possuam habilidades de cura, seja da própria vida, seja a do tanker, ou até mesmo da armadura.

Combinar todas as ideias é difícil, por isso é interessante analisar todas as regras que virão, e então tentar tomar a melhor decisão.

Enfrentei uma batalha, onde haviam mais 2 regras, além da já citada, do desafio semanal. A primeira, faz com que invocadores não dêem nenhum buff ou debuff, enquanto a segunda, reduz a vida máxima de cada carta, ao sofrer um ataque.

Com isso, eu sabia que não era possível o adversário receber nenhum acréscimo de armadura de nenhum invocador, o que facilitaria para Ranges e Meeles atacarem diretamente a vida das cartas do adversário. Existia uma possibilidade do adversário trazer um monstro que pudesse adicionar tal atributo aos seus aliados, caso ele jogasse com o elemento Morte, pois o outro que daria essa oportunidade, que era Terra, não estava disponível. Vale ressaltar, que essa batalha ocorreu no modo Moderno das ranqueadas, onde a quantidade de cartas que podem ser utilizadas, é limitada as duas últimas coleções, Rebellion e Chaos Legion.

Adicionei um tanker que além de possuir uma boa quantidade de vida, consegue segurar bem ataques mágicos.



Logo atrás, 2 monstros que aumentam a velocidade dos meus aliados. Além disso, o primeiro remove 2 pontos de armadura da equipe adversária.

Por fim, adicionei um trio de Ranges, que seriam responsáveis por eliminar todos os inimigos.

Assim ficou o campo de batalha.

Meu adversário trouxe 2 monstros com Sneak, que atacam o último monstro da linha de trás. Com isso, meus ranges estavam vulneráveis, e isso poderia causar a minha derrota. No entanto, eu tinha vantagem na velocidade, podendo atacar primeiro.

Na primeira rodada, acabei ficando em desvantagem numérica. Eu havia eliminado o tanker adversário, enquanto ele eliminou o meu, além de um dos meus 3 atacantes. No entanto, o monstro que assumiu a posição da frente, possui grande quantidade de armadura e poderia segurar muitos ataques, enquanto o oponente não havia mais nenhum grande defensor.

Ao final da segunda rodada, a situação se inverteu. Os sneaks não conseguiram eliminar meu segundo atacante, e não havia mais possibilidade disso acontecer por parte deles, já que um foi eliminado, e o outro assumiu a linha de frente. O jogo parecia ter virado para mim.

Na rodada 6, eu venço a batalha, restando 2 cartas em meu lado. Foi uma batalha em que a velocidade se mostrou muito importante.

Como você pode ver nessa batalha, seguir estratégias comuns de serem usadas em batalhas com alta quantidade de mana, é possível de ser feita também na regra Little League, onde a quantidade de mana é limitada indiretamente. Ao usar 2 cartas com Swiftness, que aumentam a velocidade de todos os meus aliados, consegui ter a vantagem ao ser o primeiro a atacar em todas as rodadas, o que me trouxe a vitória.
