What Are the Strengths of Splinters and Their Playstyles? (Dragon Splinter) [EN-ES]

It’s been quite a while since I last continued this series of posts in which I explain how Splinters work and their playstyles—in fact, I haven’t talked about this since August 14—but the good news is that I don’t forget a series, and this is the final part, since we’ve reached the last Splinter whose playstyle remains to be analyzed, and that is the “Dragon Splinter,” which, ever since the game was created, has been and will continue to be the strongest Splinter in the game—thanks to its versatility and many other aspects that I’ll reveal in this post.
So, in this post, I’ll cover a little bit of everything about the Dragon Splinter—discussing its strengths, playstyle, and some other interesting details that will help you learn more about this Splinter. Although it’s also referred to as an “element,” it isn’t actually an element; rather, it’s a race of “Monsters” capable of adapting. You could say it’s the strongest “Lineage/Race” of them all, It has always been so; we can see this because the team has made it possible from the very beginning. For over 8 years, “Dragon” cards have always been the most expensive. Of course, this is due to many other factors that most of you probably already know, but let’s get right to the details.
So, if you want to learn about the “Strengths” and playstyle of the “Dragon Splinter,” read this post all the way through—it’ll be very interesting, because by the time you finish, you’ll know how to truly play with these supreme beasts. Summary and Brief Analysis of the Remaining "Splinters"
Before diving right into the information about the “Dragon Splinter,” I’ll give a brief summary of the strengths of the Splinters I’ve explained so far. I know I’ve linked each post for you to check out, but I also want to include at least a little something here so you can see it all and have a comprehensive overview in a single post. But I won’t waste any more time—let’s get to the information:
Summary of Splinters
Fire Splinter: This is the ideal Splinter if you want to focus your attack on a “melee” style of offense. Basically, this is a card that prioritizes physical attacks over everything else—something to keep in mind if you want to play with it.
Water Splinter: This Splinter can be somewhat of a hybrid at times, depending on the deck you use, but its primary specialty is “magic attacks,” as well as ranged attacks. Physical attacks can work well on occasion, but I’d lean toward the other two.
Earth Splinter: This Splinter is one of the most useful and powerful across various playstyles, but its real focus is on “Resilience and Strength.” What I mean by this is that its units are quite resilient—perhaps not on their own, but their abilities are geared toward that. Of course, they can also deliver strong attacks in every sense, however, the focus is on combining your cards to protect the rest of your deck, using healing and resilience abilities while pairing them with offensive plays.
Life Splinter: This is one of my favorite Splinters—I love Light, by the way— but that’s not the reason—rather, the use of this element is more tactical than it seems, and although it’s very similar to “Earth,” its focus is more on protecting units with “Shield,” which take less physical damage, supported by “Support” cards with abilities like “Triage,” “Tank Heal,” and “Repair.”
Death Splinter: This is the leading Splinter for weakening all of the enemy’s stats or dealing indirect damage, such as “Poison.” It’s the Splinter that helps you reduce your opponent’s power boosts—or even weaken them when they don’t have a boost. The reality is that it’s a Splinter that uses the opponent’s own strength against them; for me, it’s one of the best.
Neutral Splinter: This is the special Splinter designed to adapt to any element, since it pairs well with any other Splinter—including the Dragon Splinter, which is the focus of this post.
Analysis of the Splinters' Strengths and Their Play Styles (Dragon Splinter)
The Dragon Splinter is the most unique Splinter in the game; what I mean is that it’s a kind of “Neutral Splinter,” though I’d say it’s “on steroids” in some cards. This is because you can also combine it with any existing Splinter, but best of all, you gain access to the characteristic strength of Dragons through very powerful combinations of the game’s most powerful monsters. But, generally speaking, what are its strengths and playstyles?
Strengths: It isn't based on any specific ability or skill, because the reality is that you can use whatever you want—since it has all three types of attacks—its strength lies in being able to create combinations that are practically impossible with other Splinters.
Playstyle: Generally speaking, Dragon Splinter monsters are unique in that many of their cards are expensive in terms of mana, but much of this is offset by the synergies you can create. Therefore, the specific playstyle to keep in mind involves combining cards and devising strategies aimed at destabilizing your opponent.
Important
While this Splinter may not seem all that special, its strength lies in the ability to combine it with any card you want—not to mention that many of these cards have combinations you could never make when playing with the other Splinters. This can catch your opponent off guard, so it’s far from being like the other cards in the deck. The only thing that resembles it is the “Neutral Splinter,” but with some limitations in terms of versatility and, at times, the cards’ power.
Final Thoughts
That means the “Dragon Splinter” is the most versatile and dangerous of them all because its playstyle can be combined with any other, and you can create more surprising strategies than with the rest—simply because your opponent is less likely to predict what you’ll do with a Dragon Splinter.

Ya hace bastante tiempo que no continuaba con este serie de publicaciones en las que explico cómo funcionan los Splinters y sus estilos de juego, de hecho desde el 14 de agosto no hablaba de esto, pero, lo bueno es que no olvido una serie y esta es la última parte, ya que llegamos al último Splinter que falta por analizar su estilo de juego, y ese es el “Splinter de Dragón”, el cual desde que se creó el juego, ha sido y seguirá siendo el Splinter más fuerte del juego y esto es debido a su versatilidad y muchas otros aspectos que en este post revelare.
Por lo que, en esta publicación hablare de todo un poco sobre el Splinter de Dragón, hablando de sus fortaleza estilo de juego y algunos otros detalles interesantes que ayudaran a que puedan conocer más sobre este Splinter, que, si bien también le llaman elementos, este no es uno, es más bien una raza de “Monstruos”, capaz de adaptarse, podría decirse que es el “Linaje/Raza” más fuerte de todos, siempre lo ha sido, podemos notar eso porque el equipo desde el principio ha hecho esto posible, desde hace más de 8 años las cartas de “Dragón siempre han sido las más costosas, por supuesto, esto se debe a muchos otros detalles que ya la mayoría debe conocer, pero, mejor vamos al conocimiento de una vez.

Resumen y Analisis Breve del resto de Splinters
Antes de ir directamente con la información del “Splinter de Dragón”, hare un pequeño resumen de las fortalezas de los Splinters que he explicado hasta ahora. Si sé que les deje cada publicación para que lo vieran, pero quiero dejarles también al menos algo para que lo vean y tengan un conjunto de conocimientos en una sola publicación, pero, no perderé más tiempo vamos con la información:
Resumen de Splinters
Splinter de Fuego: Este es el Splinter ideal si quieres enfocar tu ataque bajo un tipo de ofensiva “Cuerpo a Cuerpo”, básicamente este es un elemento que prioriza el ataque físico por encima del resto, algo para tener en cuenta si quieres jugar con él.
Splinter de Agua: Este Splinter es un poco hibrido en ocasiones dependiendo de la edición de cartas que uses, pero, su especialidad más básica es el “Ataque Mágico”, pero también el ataque a distancia, alguna vez el ataque físico puede funcionar bien, pero yo me inclinaría con los otros 2.
Splinter de Tierra: Este Splinter es uno de los más útiles y fuertes en distintas ramas, pero, su enfoque real está en lo que es la “Resistencia y la Fuerza”, a lo que me refiero con esto, es que sus unidades son bastante resistentes, quizás no por si solas, pero sus habilidades están enfocadas en esa dirección, por supuesto, también pueden usar buen ataque en todos los sentidos, sin embargo, el enfoque se basa en combinar tus cartas como protección del resto, con habilidades curativas y de resistencia mientras las combinas con ofensiva.
Splinter de Vida: Este es uno de mis Splinters favoritos, me encanta la luz, por cierto, pero no es por eso, sino que el uso de este elemento es más táctico de lo que parece y aunque se parece mucho al de “Tierra”, su enfoque es más a la protección de las unidades con “Escudo”, las cuales reciben menos daño físico, apoyada con cartas de “Soporte”, con habilidades como “Triage, Tank Heal y Repair”.
Splinter de Muerte: Este es el Splinter líder en debilitar todas las estadísticas del enemigo o causar daño indirecto, como el “Veneno”, es ese Splinter que te ayuda a disminuir esos aumentos de poder del rival o disminuirlos aun cuando no tienen un aumento, la realidad es que es Splinter que usar la fuerza del rival en contra, para mi uno de los mejores.
Splinter Neutral: Este es el Splinter especial para adaptarse a cualquier tipo de elemento, ya que se combina con cualquiera, inclusive con el de Dragón que es el Splinter especial de este post.
Analisis de los Puntos Fuertes de los Splinters y sus Estilos de Juego (Splinter de Dragón)
El Splinter de Dragón es el Splinter más especial que existe en el juego, a lo que me refiero es que es una especie de “Splinter Neutral”, sin embargo, diría que es con Esteroides en algunas cartas, esto es debido a que también puedes combinarlo con cualquier Splinter existente, pero, lo mejor de todo, es que accedes a la fuerza característica de los Dragones con combinaciones muy poderosas de los monstruos más poderosos del juego, pero, en líneas generales ¿Cuáles son sus Fortalezas y Estilos de Juego?
Fortalezas: No se basa en una habilidad o destreza especifica, porque la realidad es que puedes usar todo lo que quieras, porque tiene los 3 tipos de ataque, su fortaleza es poder hacer combinaciones que con otros Splinters es prácticamente imposible.
Estilo de Juego: Por lo general los monstruos del Splinter de Dragón son diferentes en el sentido de que, muchas de sus cartas son costosas en cuanto a mana se refiere, pero, mucho de esto se compensa con las sinergias que puedes armar, por lo que, el estilo de juego especifico que hay que tomar en cuenta es la combinación de cartas y creación de estrategias que buscar desestabilizar el rival.
Importante
Si bien este Splinter puede verse como no tan especial, la capacidad de combinarlo con cualquiera que desees es la fortaleza del mismo, sin mencionar que, muchas de estas cartas tienen combinaciones que no podrías hacer nunca jugando con el resto de Splinters, por lo que, esto puede ser un factor sorpresa para el oponente, por lo que, está lejos de ser igual que el resto de los elementos a jugar, lo único que se le asemeja es el “Splinter Neutral”, pero con algunas limitaciones en cuanto a versatilidad y en algunas ocasiones poder de las cartas.
Consideraciones Finales
Eso quiere decir que, el “Splinter de Dragón” es el más versátil y peligroso de todos porque su estilo de juego se puede combinar con todos y puedes crear estrategias de juego más sorpresivas que con el resto, por el simple hecho de que el rival no puede predecir en mejor porcentaje lo que harás con un Splinter de Dragón.
En todo caso, díganme como usan realmente este Splinter y de qué manera puede aportar a sus estrategias en el juego.
