Possibilus the Wise vs. Thaddius Brood: The Battle for the Runic Fragment (EN-ES)
Hello Splinterlands friends! In today’s post, I’m going to share a story about one of my recent battles. In it, I faced an opponent who played with Thaddius Brood, while I used the fantastic Possibilus the Wise.

The Quest in the Shadowlands
In the shadowy lands of Splinterlands, under a sky always covered in mist, Possibilus the Wise marched forward with his army. His runic armor glowed faintly as he neared his goal: a fragment of the sacred runic tablets, crucial for boosting his power and returning to Nyuuldus to save his race.
But the fragment was in the hands of Thaddius Brood, the necromancer who had turned the land into a realm of death. Thaddius, a master of dark arts, wasn’t going to let it go easily.
Crossing a bubbling swamp, Possibilus sensed a shift in the air. The shadows moved unnaturally, and a chilling laugh echoed through the twisted trees.
En las sombrías tierras de Splinterlands, bajo un cielo siempre cubierto por niebla, Possibilus the Wise avanzaba decidido con su ejército. Su armadura rúnica brillaba débilmente mientras se acercaba a su objetivo: un fragmento de las sagradas tablillas rúnicas, clave para aumentar su poder y regresar a Nyuuldus para salvar a su raza.

The Clash with Thaddius Brood
"So the great Possibilus the Wise has come to steal what belongs to me" said Thaddius, stepping out with a twisted grin. His army, eyes hollow, rose around him.
Without a word, Possibilus activated his runic disc, sending out blinding light that made some of Thaddius’s minions fall back. But Thaddius wasn’t intimidated. With a flick of his hand, he unleashed a wave of dark energy that wrapped around Possibilus.
The leviathan resisted, using his psychic power to tear apart the undead before they could reach him. But for every one that fell, another rose from the ground.
"You don’t stand a chance, Possibilus" growled Thaddius, raising his staff to summon a massive Cursed Windeku. —This fragment is mine.
Possibilus dodged the attacks from the giant, and in a moment of clarity, he telepathically connected with the few allies he had brought. The warriors charged, boosted by the Water Summoner’s power.
Furious, Thaddius channeled all his dark energy into one devastating attack aimed at Possibilus, who quickly redirected it at Cursed Windeku, causing it to explode in a thousand pieces. The shockwave knocked everyone off balance, including Thaddius and his minions.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Possibilus pounced on the necromancer. With a roar, he disarmed Thaddius, tearing the runic fragment from his staff. The light of the fragment fused with his runic disc, amplifying its glow and filling him with renewed power.
"Así que el gran Possibilus the Wise viene a robarme lo que me pertenece" dijo Thaddius, emergiendo con una sonrisa torcida. Su ejército, con ojos vacíos, se alzó a su alrededor.
Sin palabras, Possibilus activó su disco rúnico, proyectando luz cegadora que hizo retroceder a algunos de los esbirros. Pero Thaddius no se amedrentó. Con un gesto, lanzó una ola de energía oscura, envolviendo a Possibilus.
El leviatán resistió con esfuerzo, usando su poder psíquico para destruir a los no-muertos antes de que lo alcanzaran. Pero por cada uno que caía, otro surgía.
"No tienes ninguna oportunidad, Possibilus" gruñó Thaddius, invocando a un gigantesco Cursed Windeku. "Este fragmento es mío."
Possibilus esquivó los ataques del monstruo, y en un momento de claridad, activó su conexión telepática con los pocos aliados que había traído. Los guerreros atacaron a los no-muertos, potenciado por el invocador de Agua.
Thaddius, furioso, lanzó un ataque devastador a Possibilus, que redirigió el golpe hacia Cursed Windeku, haciéndolo explotar en pedazos. La onda expansiva tambaleó a todos, incluidos Thaddius y su ejército.
Aprovechando el caos, Possibilus se lanzó contra Thaddius. Con un rugido, lo desarmó y le quitó el fragmento rúnico de su bastón. La luz del fragmento brilló al unirse con la de su disco rúnico, dándole nueva energía.
The Victory and the Runic Fragment
Defeated but not destroyed, Thaddius retreated, surrounded by the remains of his army.
"This isn’t over, Possibilus. I’ll be back!" he shouted before vanishing into a whirl of shadows.
Breathing heavily after the intense battle, Possibilus raised the fragment to the sky as his allies cheered from the hills. But there was no time for celebration. This was just one more fragment, and the road ahead was still filled with dangers. With the fragment in hand, Possibilus braced himself for the next battle, knowing each step brought him closer to his mission and to saving his entire race.
Derrotado pero no destruido, Thaddius retrocedió, rodeado por sus restos de ejército.
"Esto no ha terminado, Possibilus. ¡Volveré!" gritó antes de desaparecer en sombras.
Respirando hondo, Possibilus levantó el fragmento hacia el cielo mientras sus aliados celebraban. Pero sabía que aún quedaba mucho por hacer. Con el fragmento en sus manos, se preparó para el siguiente paso de su misión, que lo acercaba a salvar a su raza.
