What’s up, everyone? It’s me, intishar, once again. I hope you are well and fine and enjoying the battle of Splinterlands. In recent days, my battle experience is getting better compared to the past, and I think that experience and the change of strategy are helping me to win battles even if I am getting tough opponents after reaching the Gold League. And Today I am here to share about an interesting battle in Splinterlands.

What makes a battle interesting to you? I think it’s different for everyone as we have ways to think differently. For me when I play a battle with an opponent using the same Archon. In such a case both of us select the cards within the same mana cap. And it’s the way to understand if my strategy is good or not. If I lose, I can learn the strategy of opponent and if I win it gives me confidence. And in any case, I find that Archon level of the opponent’s a challenge and help me to understand the gap between the opponent and me and it’s something that helps me to understand better. So today I am going to share a battle like that, and I am sure you will enjoy it.

The mana cap of the battle was 46 which is decent and allowed me to choose cards freely unless I use high mana cards. The ruleset was target practice and keep your distance. I choose Aurelia as Archon for this battle as well as earth element and fortunately the opponent also choose the same Archon, but the difference was the level of opponent’s card was 4 while mine was two. Spellmonger was placed in the first position and keeping it in the first position was indeed risky, but I have taken the risk.

Khan Feywest was placed in the second position because it’s a card with 3 magic attacks and the speed is also 3 and I wanted to keep it in 3rd position but later I decided to keep it in the second position for decent health. Time Bandit was placed in the 3rd position and without any doubt it was selected for having 7 health and its other abilities. I kept it as backup if the Khan Feywest ended up at the beginning.

Glimmermancer is one of my favorite cards and I love to use it when I use earth elements. It’s my favourite card because it has 2 magic attacks power and life can be considered as decent and the 5th position was for Kicking Roc and I think it’s the best card of mine for range attack as it has 3 ranged attack ability and health of it was also 6 which was good enough to select. My mana cap ended up with the 5 cards and so I didn’t have the chance to select the 6th card.

Instead of having higher level Archon my opponent had Giam Root card and honestly, I am kind of afraid of this card as I think the card is powerful from a strategic point of view. Unfortunately, the opponent set it in the first position. I guess he did it for having 11 health of the card. The battle was very close, and I thought that I was going to lose but I became the winner of the battle and it was unexpected. You can understand how close the battle was if you see it.
