Splinterlands 8 Year Anniversary
After eight years of development, Splinterlands has experienced one of its most active periods. During the past year, the game introduced gameplay updates, expanded its digital collectibles and improved player ownership mechanics.
Some of the biggest highlights include:
Conclave Arcana – A new set that introduced new units, strategies and new abilities.
Escalation Mini-Set – Added more collectible cards and fresh gameplay options to keep the meta evolving.
Frontier Format – My favorite update. A beginner friendly ranked format focused on the Foundations set, making it easier for new players to enter competitive play.
Survival Mode – For players who has a wide collection, a mode where defeated cards enter cooldowns, forcing players to manage their entire collections strategically.
Conflicts – A game mode that encourages players to work together while earning exclusive rewards.
Land Expansion – Continued development of the land economy.
Black Foil and Arcane Variants – New premium collectible card rarities.
Two New Cards
To celebrate Splinterlands eight year anniversary. The game is offering two new dragon cards, one epic and one legendary.
Tenrai
Tenrai is the epic card and cost $0.88. It's maxed stats are the following.

Abilities
Opportunity - Targets the enemy unit with the least health.
Kindred Spirit: Giant Killer - At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred Will gain Giant Killer.
Bulwark - When in the first position, this unit gets -2 power, +8 health, and +8 armor.
Relentless Strike - If an attack’s damage would be reduced by Void, Shield, or the target being Forcefield, it deals the reduced damage +1 instead.
Suiko
Suiko is the legendary card and cost $8.88. It's maxed stats are the following.

Abilities
Kindred Will: Armored Strike - At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred Spirit gain Armored Strike.
True Strike - Attacks will never miss.
Affliction - Successful attacks have a 50% chance to apply Afflicted, preventing the target from being healed.
Apex Strike - Targets the enemy unit with the most power.
Both cards are good addition to our teams and nice to add to our collection. They will be available in the shop in four days.
Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
