Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: 5th Place

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and members of the Hive gaming community! Welcome to another battle report from the Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. Our guild is all about enjoying the game, having some friendly competition and earning rewards along the way.

We take part in the weekly Guild Brawls against other guilds and players. These weekly battles are a great opportunity to test our strategies, experiment with our lineups and see how well we can perform under competitive conditions. Aside from the rewards, brawls are also about contributing to the guild and helping the team achieve better results each week.

Here is our battle report for this week's brawl, including our performance, battles and the rewards we earned.

Overall Guild Rank: Fifth Place

We dropped to fifth place this time. Last week we were in fourth but we continue to perform not that well this week. Hopefully we can get better soon.

Top Brawl Participants

Not a good brawl with a 50% win rate. I'm at the bottom of the top brawl participants in our guild. I'll review the games and see where I ended up losing badly.

Selected Games

Here I present one of the games that I won.

It's a forty four mana game. I put my water team and replaced five mana Colossus Raider with gladiator Isgald Vorst. The gladiator is stronger than Colossus Raider. My opponent had the faster Fire team. His gladiator card is strong with five attack. But, he had fewer units than my team. It gave me an extra card that help take damage while the attackers kill the opponent cards.

Spending the Rewards

I had 4k+ merits to spend on two gladius packs.

It's just another common and rare cards. I was hoping to get lucky again like the previous week, but it’s all good. I don’t expect to pull legendary cards every time anyway.

On the bright side, Whistling Damon and Cutter Brieze were levelled up to three. Cutter Brieze had increased its attack and will be great in very low mana games.

Conclusion

We earned 3,833 merits and 27 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
