Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: 3rd Place!
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
We slipped to third place from last week's second but I'm still happy with our ranking in this week's brawl. We managed to stay in the podium in a very competitive group. There were only four wins that separated us from second place guild Druids. But, we had a huge lead compared to the fourth place guild, Torum. This indicates that the first three places are leagues apart from the rest of the group. It makes me proud to be part of the Pizza guild.
Top Brawl Participants
I'm proud to contribute in our weekly brawls. I only lost one game and won the rest for a 7 - 1 win loss record. There are two more players who had the same performance as I did while our leader had a perfect score. It goes to show how competitive our players are.
Selected Games
Here I present two of the games that I won.
Game 1
The game was decided by a fight between the tanks. My tank, Chimnew Wallstop had armor and higher attack while my opponent's tank had lower mana and higher health. For the second unit, my card had lower attack but it's melee while my opponent's was an archer. As for the archons, mine was better in the context of this game. My archon gave me the edge in speed that let my team kill the opponent's tank first. Once his tank was gone, his archer was helpless in first position.

Game 2
In the second game I clearly had the edge in the match up. I had a magic team while my opponent had Fire. His speed was nullified by Mystic Scaleweaver's slow skill. My team had more firepower because my magic attack was increased by my archon. My opponent had a good tank but it was killed off by my magic units.

Spending the Rewards
I have enough merits to buy two packs. I only got the standard commons and one rare for each pack. This was not my lucky day.
Katrelba Gobson was already due for upgrade to level four. She increased her attack to three having a total of six attack with Double Strike skill.
Conclusion
We earned 4,278 merits and 46 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
