Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: 2nd Place!
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Second Place
We are in the podium once again reaching second place this time around. There's an eight win lead between the first place guild, Unwanted against us while we enjoy a seven win advantage over the third place guild, Alpha. All of us have more than one hundred wins. Fourth place guild also had over a hundred wins but the rest of the pack were much lower. This shows that the first four places are leagues apart from the rest of the group. It makes me proud to be part of the Pizza guild.
Top Brawl Participants
I'm proud to contribute in our weekly brawls. I won seven games and lost two for a 7 - 2 win loss record. Although I only lost two games, I'm near the bottom when it comes to the top guild participants. It goes to show how competitive our players are.
Selected Games
Here I present two of the games that I won.
Game 1
The game had the Earthquake modifier. We used mostly the same cards except for one. I placed the Spellmonger in front to soften my opponent's tanks. This will ensure that they will suffer damage and will less likely outlive my own tanks. The simple trick worked and I got the victory.

Game 2
In the second game the game modifier was Fog of War. Inspite of the modifier, my opponent used cards with Sneak and Opportunity skills that won't work. Although I had less units, all of them were attacking each round compared to my opponent's. This game was another win for me.

Spending the Rewards
I have enough merits to buy three packs. I got a gold foil rare card which was the best card in this bunch. The others are just commons and rares.
Conclusion
We earned 4,944 merits and 36 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
