Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: Fifth Place
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Fifth Place
We had fallen one run in this week's brawl ranking in fifth place. Last week was fine as we only ranked in fourth. We won 84 games while losing only 52. Fourth place finisher Stray [PH] held a commanding lead with 94 wins while we also had a big lead over sixth place guild The Alliance.
Top Brawl Participants
My brawl results were fine but were below standard compared to my previous results. I won six games and lost three and held the eighth rank among our guild's brawl players.
Selected Games
Here I present two of the games that I won.
Game 1
The first game was for 30 mana. Me and my opponent almost had similar lineups. I had two archers while my opponent had a melee card in second position. The difference was my archer's attack was higher and that small edge gave me the win.

Game 2
The second game I had a magic team. My tank had a Taunt skill that attracts attack. My opponent had Nim Guard Captain with Void skill against my magic attackers. His unit with Taunt was placed in the last position and cannot attack. It gave me the advantage of having more attackers in a round. My team also had the edge in speed because my Mystic Scaleweaver slowed down the opponent.

Spending the Rewards
I have enough merits to buy two packs. There were no legendary cards but there was one epic and it's a gold foil! It surely is a lucky prize this time around. Moreover, there was another common gold foil card included in the packs.
So two new gold foils join my collection. It's very satisfying to get these prizes from brawls.
Conclusion
We earned 3.722 merits and 25 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
