New Arena Vanguard Units
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! New units are coming to Splinterlands to spice up the gameplay. Eight new cards are added to the game. The new cards consists of seven Rare units and one Legendary Dragon Archon. This was announced by Splinterlands in the link. The images came from that post.
The new cards are:
Jolius Blast (Fire)
A tank that focuses on aggressive offensive melee attack and counterattack and has Void skill against magic attacks.
Ratbound Corsair (Water)
A range unit with Close Range and Blast skills.
Khan Fey West (Earth)
A strong magic unit with Slow. He is a better version of Mystic Scaleweaver due to having more abilities.
King Erminaz Twincleaver (Life)
A strong melee attacker with Sneak and Double Strike skills. He also has Dodge skill for defense.
Gorm the Vengeful (Death)
A strong melee attacker with Opportunity, Magic Reflect and Affliction skills.
Vaelok (Dragon)
A strong magic attacker that can fly and decrease the opponent's melee attacks while increasing its own health with Life Leech skill.
Buns the Unseen (Neutral)
Can be used with any Splinter, a second position card with magic defense and Silence skill.
Aurendrak (Legendary Archon)
The set also includes a Legendary Dragon Archon. As a Dragon Archon, it can be paired with multiple elemental Splinters, giving players greater flexibility when building teams.
How to Acquire
The Arena Vanguard cards can be acquired in many ways.
Depending on the card, players may be able to obtain them through:
- Streamer giveaways
- Content creator promotions
- Community influencer distribution
- LUX’S FAVOR Wheel Spin
- The Spark Shop
- Tournaments and special Arena Vanguard events
For most players, the Wheel and Spark Shop is the easiest way to acquire the cards. They cost 30k Sparks and each card is limited to only 250 copies. Some players who were smart to save Sparks were the first to buy cards.
Conclusion
The new cards are a boost to motivate players to play more and spin the wheel in the hopes of landing a jackpot. They will encourage new players to try Splinterlands and it gives them access to more free cards aside from the Frontier set. New and old players will like the new cards.
Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
