Choose Your Brackets in Modern Splinterlands
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and members of the Hive gaming community! There is a new system of play called "brackets" that was launched in Splinterlands. Players are to choose their brackets before starting in the Modern format. My understanding is, the higher the brackets, the higher the rewards. But, expect the competition to be tougher in higher brackets. Further, there are minimum and maximum card requirements in each bracket.
I took copied this from a Splinterlands post. These are the minimum and maximum cards to play in each brackets.
Swim in Your Own Lane
The secret to be successful in this format of play is to choose your brackets correctly. Take a look at your card levels and decide which bracket most fit your cards. I chose Silver first but I found it difficult. I changed to Bronze and I'm cruising to it swimmingly. I'm now moved to division six with not much difficulty. There are rewards to be won when reaching divisions. There are nine and I'm looking to get in the top of my bracket soon.
The rewards are good. I got three cards with rare and 2k glints. I'm also getting 500+ glints for every win. Soon I can get enough glints to buy legendary chests.
Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
