Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Will you join the Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Event?

Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Weekly Challenge and for this week, we have the theme to be about Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Event. Without much anticipation, I will set the ball rolling.

We have been writing on the same theme for about two months now and today, it's nice to have a new theme for the week. Nevertheless, the theme for the week is indeed a great one to participate in and share my entry. The Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Event is designed to serve as a platform where Splinterland players are allowed to purchase two promotional cards.

It is not just about the purchase of these promotional cards, but also, you earning points which are used to rank players on the leaderboard. There is going to be a bounty of prizes at the end of the event which would be shared for players in the higher ranks on the leaderboard. It is a 15-day event and it started officially when the Bitcoin Halving occurred on the 18th of April this year. The concept of this is that the current bitcoin halving would now reduce the rewards for BTC block mining rewards from 6.25 to 3.125 BTC.

These two cards are the Baron Fyatt and the Henchling Enforcer. They have magic and range attacks respectively. They are five and six mana costs respectively as well and I am hoping to join this challenge by purchasing one or more of these cards. The prizes involved in this event are worth nearly $100K in the marketplace. They are as follows;

• 500 PLOT tokens
• 100 Alpha packs
• 250 Beta packs
• 500 Untamed Packs
• 50 Essence Orb Packs
• 100 Azmare Dice Packs
• 20 Runi NFTs

Aren't you surprised about these prizes, what is keeping you from participating in the event? The price of the cards is 31,250 (31.25k) DEC/Credits for Baron Fyatt, and 3,125 (3.125k) DEC/Credits for the Henchling Enforcer.

There are special abilities on each card and Baron Fyatt at max has the following abilities; halving, blind, scattershot, and ambush.

The Henchling Enforcer card also at max has the following abilities; halving, true strike, and camouflage.

There are also in-game titles that one can earn after sitting in certain positions in the game. These include the following;
1-10 - "The Burninator" Legendary Title
11-60 - "The Incinerator" Epic Title
61-200 - "The Scorcher" Rare Title.
