The Final Countdown: Season End Strategy in Splinterlands & Why I'm Staying in Diamond

Hello to Splinterlands and Hive Fam,

Hope life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world.

The current season of the Splinterlands game is ending today, and right now, when I am drafting this post, the remaining time for the current season is around 10 hours. Now I have stopped playing, and I have already unlocked the Diamond One league in this season, so it is good for me for now because I intentionally wanted to stay in the league only, which is Diamond and not moving on to the Champion league. Although the gap is not higher, and if I want, I can bridge that, but I just don't want to do this.

Now, since I have stopped the gameplay for this season and my current energy count 24 so I'll take a pause for one day and post that I will be very close to having the energy count of around 48 or 50, whatever happens, that I cannot say as of now but I will start playing once again once my rental setup is done. Every season, I need to take cards on the rent, and after the season ends, it is a required activity for me to get back in the game again, which I will be doing once this season ends.

This is my last battle in the current season, which I won, and now the next battle will start only in the new season. So this way I'll be getting the option to do some comparison between the end-of-season reward for the last season and the one that is going to end today. It is Monday today, and the season is going to end on Monday, so I got the time over the weekend.

It is good to play more battles, and this season I did not buy any energy because I did not want to put so much effort into the battleground to play more battles, because in the middle of the season, I already had a thought that I am not going to enter the Champion League this season. I know that it can be a little challenging for me in the next season to enter the champion because my league will be reduced because I am ending the season in the diamond now and not in the champion, so there is a different arrangement to start a new season depending upon what league we have achieved in the last season, which has just ended.

If I talk about the leaderboard you can see my rank and rating So it is very clear that I'm not going to make it even if I try hard because the gap is a lot and it's OK since I do not have any thought to do this but whatever it is I'm happy with my progress in the current season and also the overall number of battles that I have played.

You can also see some statistics for me where I have played a total number of battles as 332, out of which I won 155 battles with a Max streak of seven. And going by these numbers, my winning ratio is 46.69% and I think it's very good for me. This progress is only for the current season. I noticed these statistics for the first time, and it is impressive that we can track the overall progress in the current season. That's how we have done it, and accordingly, we can plan that it requires more attention and some changes in the strategy to make it look better.
