Eight Days Left: League Climb and SPS Accumulation

Currently the season which is running on splinterlands game is going to end in eight days. Every season is for two weeks and sometime it is also for fifteen days so I don't know the calculation behind. I have not tried to figure it out because I think whatever it is I'm fine with it and with slight difference it also gives more time to the players to play more battles.

Yesterday only I made it diamond league and it is diamond three so I will be playing more battles to unlock diamond 2 also. There are three ranks in each league that starts in descending order. For example I am in the Diamond League so the current level of my league is diamond three and if I play more and win more battles then I will move to diamond two. Once I clear that level then it is going to be diamond one and if in case I clear that also then the next will start another league which is going to be the champion.

I don't think I'm ready for that because even diamond one is highly competitive. With each passing rank in the league you are getting more competition and it is going to be very tough to win and move forward with overall rating. Rating is the criteria that takes you forward in the game and you keep on unlocking the next leagues if you are winning more battles and getting more rating.

This is my progress in the current season so far where I stand in diamond three league with rating as 2820 and my energy count is at 46. I try to ensure that my energy count is not sitting idle as 50 because if it happens then it is a waste. I try playing a few times in a day to utilise my energy recharge and every time I play takes about five to seven battles. If I win more then I continue playing more battles but if I lose then I take a break because that keeps me a breathing space when I can focus more on the battles and also get matched with different players.

It is also important that we are matched with the right set of players so if in case you are losing more battles then I think you should take a break from the game for some time and play again. I can't say about others but for me it works because after taking a break I am matched with another set of players and maybe that goes in my favour at least I can say this with my experience.

My plan is to move ahead on the league and unlock at least diamond two league for me. Because this season will be ending in eight days from now so I'm pretty much confident that this is going to happen but I can't say really about diamond one because I believe it is going to be too much challenging.

Currently I have 38,250 SPS and I also have some liquid SPS tokens. So I am going to take all those liquid coins lying idle in my game account.

I have done it now and you can see the updated balance after this taking action that I have done just now. I have purchased most of the sps I hold and very few coins I got as part of the reward in game. The current price for S P S is low and I'm still figuring out the options I should follow to buy more sps. This is not any type of financial advice from my end but I believe that SPS is going to be a valuable component of this entire game ecosystem.

I just hope that I'm able to buy more and in next few months if I can make it 100k sps it would be really good for me. Finger crossed about my sps goal and I just hope that by the time I arrange some funds the price should not spike else I'll have to pay more for the less quantity which I don't want personally to be honest.

For every player having more sps is beneficial because it is an important part of the game that influence the reward we receive after the season end. Simple words it is like if you have more SPS staked in your game account so be ready to receive an even better rewards in the game. Model is good because it encourages the players to have bigger token holding for an interesting reward in the game and surely for this region people will continue to build or hold whatever sps holding they have. It is a governance token so it also gives the community a power to accept or reject any proposal. I have seen few proposals in the game but I'm not much aware in detail so still trying to figure out how this entire mechanism works.

Community ownership is a good option and this power is given to those who are holding SPS power so with this power they have the ability to accept or reject any proposals which is available on the platform. Obviously the majority matters here because if majority of the community member decide to accept the proposal it is going to happen but if they not then there is nothing can be done and its all driven automatically without any manual intervention.

I am hopeful that in my next purchase I will be able to cross 50,000 SPS holding mark or maybe more that depends upon my purchasing power. I am bullish on this game so I have already started working on the cards accumulation along with sps but all this is going to take time and I do not think it is easy for anyone to have bigger balance of tokens and also the cards overnight. Maybe it is possible for someone but not for me because I am just trying to build my account with valuable assets holding as well as I am also trying to learn more about the game. I also participated in the challenges organised by the game and that reward is utilised in the game to buy different digital assets.
