Meet Yaba's Pickle and Upcoming Events in Splinterlands

In this post, I'll talk about the Yaba's Pickle card and how to get it in Splinterlands.

To start, I recommend you check out the Arcade Colony platform, owned by Invennium Corp, a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.

Now, let's get back to the Yaba's Pickle card.

Yaba's Pickle

This is a card that might not catch your eye because it doesn't have any type of attack and its attack speed is low, but don't be fooled because it's an incredible card, and I'll tell you why.

Yaba's Pickle is a common card in the Water deck, which means you'll need 400 cards to level it up to maximum level (Level 10). The reason I like this card is because of its abilities: Dodge, Shield, Slow, and Heal. This is a powerful combination of abilities in Splinterlands, and the fact that Yaba's Pickle only costs 4 mana makes it even more special because it will be a great ally in your battles with limited mana available.

Dodge - This ability gives Yaba's Pickle a +25% chance to dodge physical attacks (melee and ranged).

Shield - This ability makes Yaba's Pickle take 50% less damage against physical attacks (melee and ranged).

Slow - This ability makes Yaba's Pickle decrease the attack speed of enemy monsters by -1 while in battle.

Heal - This ability makes Yaba's Pickle heal for 1/3 of its maximum health once per round.

As you can see, Yaba's Pickle is an incredible card even though it doesn't have any type of attack, but that's not a problem because you can use cards with the Training ability to give Yaba's Pickle some type of attack, making it even more powerful in battle and an even more indispensable option.

Remember that Yaba's Pickle has levels, the table above shows its stats at each level.

How to get Yaba's Pickle?

Yaba's Pickle was released on June 24, 2025. On that date, players who had at least 1,000 SPS in Staked at the time of the SPS Snapshot could purchase Yaba's Pickle for 150 DEC or 150 Credits per card.

• For every 1,000 SPS in Staked, the player could purchase 1 Yaba's Pickle.

Today was the last day Yaba's Pickle was available for this price, so it can now only be purchased on the card market in Splinterlands.

Currently, the lowest price for Yaba's Pickle (regular) is $0.077, and this price is still low because it's lower than the price you would pay for 150 DEC.

Buying Yaba's Pickle from the Splinterlands store was still the best option because you had a chance to get both the Gold Foil and Black Foil versions.

Gold Foil - You had a 2% chance to get 1 Gold Foil card for each Yaba's Pickle card purchased (4% chance using Alchemy Potion).

Black Foil - You had a 0.00025% chance to get 1 Black Foil card for each Yaba's Pickle card purchased (0.0005% chance using Midnight Potion).

If you weren't able to participate in the Yaba's Pickle sale, don't worry because there are still two more events that will allow you to get the Yaba's Pickle Gold Foil Arcane and the Yaba's Pickle Black Foil Arcane.

Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw

This is the next event for the Yaba's Pickle card, and in it, players will have the chance to get the Yaba's Pickle Gold Foil Arcane.

The Yaba's Pickle Gold Foil Arcane already comes at max level, so if you're the lucky one to get this beautiful card, jump for joy because I know I will.

Fifty Yaba's Pickle Gold Foil Arcane cards will be distributed, one each day. To participate in the draw, you'll need to purchase from Fortune Draw, and the more Fortune Draws you have, the greater your chances of winning.

You can also purchase Fortune Draws from other players in the market.

Each Fortune Draw guarantees one regular Yaba's Pickle card, so even if you don't win the draw, you won't walk away empty-handed.

• The Gold Foil Fortune Draw begins on July 29, 2025.

Black Foil Arcane Auction

This is the final event for the Yaba's Pickle card, and players will have the chance to get the Yaba's Pickle Black Foil Arcane.

This event will feature 20 Yaba's Pickle Black Foil cards, and it works like an auction. You'll need to place your bid, and the highest bidder at the end of the auction will receive the card.

For each bid in the auction, you'll need 1 Auction Mark.

You can also purchase the Auction Mark from other players in the marketplace.

• The Black Foil Arcane Auction begins September 23, 2025
