Splinterlands Diary: I Won a New Wheel Card
Hello Splinterlands players, I hope you have a nice day! From the wheel today, I unexpectedly won a new card. For the first time, a dragon shows up in the Frontier.
Vaelok is a dragon unit that cost eleven mana and has two magic attack. It has a flying ability like Little Sister and Celestial Guardian. I like this card and I'm eager to use it in the Frontier battles. The caveat is I need a dragon archon which I don't have. Apparently, there are new cards that came together with Vaelok. They are called the Arena Vanguards and they can be bought in the Sparks shop for 30k each.
I'm now regretting not spinning the wheel when it first came out. Now I'm playing catch up to get sparks. Aside from Vaelok, there are six more units and one dragon archon. The six units I said can be bought from the shop.
The new cards will spice the Frontier battles. There is one new card for every element.

The new cards are all high mana and stronger than the average Foundation cards. They may even be better than legendary cards in the Frontier, raising the bar for new Frontier cards.
As for the dragon archon, it can also be won from the wheel like Vaelok.
The dragon archon cost eight mana. If you get Aurendrak then it will be possible to play the dragon element in the Frontier format.
The new cards are exciting but they are not easy to obtain. I hope to get lucky in the wheel again and get more sparks. Thank you for reading and see you in the next post.
