My Splinterlands Diary - Opening Foundation Reward Chests and Upgrading Cards

Hello Splinterlands players, I hope you have a nice day! Join me today as I buy and open reward packs after earned from completing the daily battles. The reward chests are the incentive for playing in the Frontier format. It's the free to play format in Splinterlands that beginners can start with and collect the first set of cards. The more consistent one plays, the more cards will be won.

I have three reward chests to open today. I'm hoping to get some cards that will level up the current ones I have.

I opened the three chests all at once. It had fifteen cards in total. My wish list for opening are legendary, archon and gold foils.

Fifteen new cards added to my collection. Unfortunately there were no legendary cards among them. I did get one gold foil and one archon card. They are the ones I most sought after.

There are two water cards that can be upgraded to maximum level. I upgraded the Colossus Raider to maximum level and it increased its speed by one.

The Spitting Camel I will leave at level four and I have a good reason for doing so.

Upgrading the Spitting Camel to maximum level will make it increase its attack but it will lose one health. In my battles, I use this card as an alternative tank so health is more important for me than attack. It can be a tank in front or in the rear to defend against Saltwater Mage's attacks. That's the reason why I decided to leave it at level four.

That's my update for now. I will keep playing the Frontier and increasing my cards. See you in the next update!
