As you can see in the image, these are the most expensive “Regular Card” cards in the game’s starter deck for new players called “Foundations,” and as you can see, the most expensive card in this set costs just $1.9, followed by one that costs $0.751, Although some might have expected these cards to be more expensive, it’s clear that these units are among the most affordable in the game and also offer several advantages that I’ll discuss as this post progresses.

Now, because these cards are relatively new, they’re so affordable, they are literally among the cheapest we’ve seen since the “Chaos Legion” set, which—due to an error involving an excessive supply of booster packs—resulted in an extremely high number of copies of each card. Unfortunately, this caused their value to be diluted among so many copies, to the point where even “Legendary” rarity cards are currently worth just a few cents—even though they are very good and powerful cards.

Why are these cards so inexpensive?

There may be several reasons, and I’ll explain them to you, although I might be wrong, since I don’t have the full picture of what’s really going on with these “Foundations” cards. So, all I can do is speculate based on the factors that determine the price of these assets. Let’s get into the details:

• Supply: One factor that undoubtedly determines a card’s price is its total supply. If a card has been printed in large quantities, it’s natural for its price to drop, and that’s partly what I think is happening with the price of these cards—and why their value is so low. Remember that when an asset is scarcer, its value tends to be quite high; the opposite is true when there are many copies—that means it’s much easier to obtain, so its price drops and becomes much lower.

• Their Usefulness: One thing I've noticed is that these cards don't have all the tiers they should have based on their rarity, so this alone is a significant shortcoming in terms of their usefulness on the battlefield—not to mention the lack of abilities at the different tiers. However, this may be intentional since it’s a starter edition for free-to-play players; they can’t make them too strong because that would break the game, and the idea is that these players will eventually spend money.

What would you do to start playing and try to earn the biggest rewards possible in “Frontier”?

If you want to get started in “Frontier” but don’t have enough capital, this is definitely what I recommend. So the first thing I’d do is focus on “FRONTIER,” since it’s the cheapest way to start—yes, you can start for free— however, if you really want to be competitive, you’ll need to improve your deck, because I’m sure other players won’t stick with their starting cards either. So, here’s a step-by-step guide and some recommendations for improving your deck:

• Campaign Mode: The first thing you need to do is complete Campaign Mode; this is necessary to earn most of the “Foundations” cards that will complement your deck for playing in “Frontier.” Completing it is straightforward, and it might get a little tricky toward the end if you’re new to the game, but you should generally be able to finish it in a single day.

• Go to the Market: Next, as I said, you need to be competitive, so what you need to do at this point is complete your deck. As you saw at the beginning, the prices of these cards are quite low, so I wouldn’t hesitate to buy several of them to compete at a higher level and move up through the leagues. This could secure me better rewards and help me continue to complete my deck.
