In Splinterlands, the information you gather to improve is vital for advancing through the game’s different levels. This means that by doing research, you can improve, implement new strategies, and tip the odds in your favor on the battlefield, but it’s not exactly easy—it requires quite a bit of research. The good news, though, is that today we have many tools that can help us harness all this information much more quickly, and this is where AI comes in. By using it correctly, we can explore the Splinterlands ecosystem and quickly gather valuable insights.
So, to bring you this post, I’ve researched which abilities have the longest winning streaks in the game and which winning combinations have proven to be consistent over time—at least in the current META. This is interesting for players of all skill levels, because whether you’re experienced or just starting out, all of this will help you continue to progress or, alternatively, further refine your strategies—which you’ve surely already been applying if you’re a veteran player.
But I don't want to waste any more time, so stick around until the end of this post so you can see which skills have the most wins and what combinations and/or synergies exist between them to increase their effectiveness.

To gather all this information and obtain the results, I created a script that analyzes the Splinterlands APIs along with data from at least 10,000 to 20,000 battles, involving at least 500 to 1,000 active players and various variables—such as battle rules, mana cost, leagues, and other details that can determine which modifiers are used and which abilities we could use on the battlefield to secure a victory.
To really see it, take a look at the following image:

In the image, you can see the 10 skills that currently have the longest winning streaks in the game, filtered from at least 10,000 to 20,000 battles—perhaps more—taking into account that these skills have appeared in those battles at least 500 times to achieve a result as close to reality as possible. Of course, I’m not entirely sure this information is set in stone. To build the script, I did use data from Splinterlands—that much is clear—but there might be the occasional error. In any case, I’ve listed the top abilities, the number of winning streaks, and many more real-world details in the following table:
| Rank | Ability | Appearances (Total) | Win Rate | Streak of 5+ | Streak of 10+ | Streak of 15+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kindred Spirit:True Strike | 3,602 | 65.30% | 125 | 4 | 0 |
| 2 | Armored Strike | 3,322 | 65.26% | 151 | 5 | 1 |
| 3 | Weapons Training | 10,489 | 61.92% | 410 | 12 | 0 |
| 4 | Bulwark | 1,777 | 60.16% | 62 | 1 | 0 |
| 5 | Heal | 20,254 | 60.03% | 761 | 23 | 0 |
| 6 | Weaken | 1,086 | 58.75% | 43 | 2 | 1 |
| 7 | Return Fire | 4,496 | 58.67% | 175 | 4 | 0 |
| 8 | Kindred Spirit:Giant Killer | 3,602 | 58.61% | 124 | 7 | 0 |
| 9 | Void | 20,038 | 58.14% | 675 | 21 | 1 |
| 10 | Knock Out | 2,747 | 57.52% | 110 | 2 | 0 |

Kindred Spirit: True Strike (65.30%): This is the top ability, and it’s one of those skills that—if you really know how to use it—is incredibly powerful. Plus, right now in the game, many players are focusing on speed; in fact, I’ve already shared my thoughts on the “Speed” stat, which is very powerful. Plus, when combined with “Evasion” abilities, it’s practically impossible to land a hit when you’re caught off guard. When you play with this ability and True Strike, none of that matters—because you simply can’t miss.
Armored Strike (65.26%): This offensive skill is insane. I’ve tested it, and the truth is that it delivers an incredible attack that many players often don’t expect, since it uses your “Shield” to gain an additional attack. perfectly combining “Defense” and “Attack” into one. If you have a high shield, it’ll be hard to defeat you in a physical—or even magical—environment, and the fact that you gain attack power from that defense is insane.
Weapons Training (61.92%): This comes as a surprise to me, since it’s not an easy skill to handle—I mean, it’s very risky in most situations, at least from my point of view—because there are many times when it doesn’t go well and you show weakness in that area, so the fact that it has such a high success rate is impressive.

Of course, there are skills that, when combined, can lead to many winning streaks—this is a fact, not because a script shows it to me, but because by testing, experimenting, and creating synergies between them, it’s possible to achieve significant winning streaks—with some losses along the way, of course—but for me, it’s much better to combine them because the odds of winning increase exponentially. In fact, you can see this in the following image:

Weapons Training + Pacifist Cards: Although it may seem strange—and once again surprises me—the highest synergy, with impressive streaks reaching up to 72.43%, comes from combining the Weapons Training ability with cards that have no attack, known as “pacifist” cards. Of course, this is obvious because, for the rule’s effect to work, they must have no attack—which is why that percentage surprises me.
Taunt + Heal/Triage: This is one of the oldest synergies out there and one that many are familiar with, but it still works—and it’s no wonder. If you pull off the right combination, no matter how well your opponent figures out your plans and strategy, the fact that you draw all the attack fire to a single point while also healing it every round gives you a defense that’s very hard to break through.
Stun + Knock Out: This is a complicated combination, but if executed successfully, it’s quite effective and can severely compromise your opponent’s defenses. After all, forcing them to skip their turn due to your attack while also dealing double damage is insane—it drastically increases the number of your opponent’s cards destroyed in just a few rounds. It’s actually very good, though I find it a bit tricky to pull off.

It's amazing what results you can achieve with this information. In fact, if you want to try out all these combinations or skills, now is the time—give them a try on the battlefield and come back to this post to let me know how it went. I've had a lot of fun putting this post together and trying out new things, thanks to my husband, who's been teaching me about this kind of stuff.
