This is RILA FEN, one of the strongest Offensive Support cards in the CA game.

Best regards Splinterlovers đź’š

Arcana Conclave, consisting mostly of SETS, features cards that are right in the META. Since they belong to the Modern format, these cards are always in high demand—which is why, today I want to explain and/or go into detail about one of those cards that absolutely must be in all of our decks, since it’s a card that can radically change the game for us—even though it has some conditional abilities that affect enemies depending on whether they play certain abilities or not—but otherwise, you can do a lot with this unit on your side of the field.

That card is called RILA FEN, which—to be honest—is pretty good. It’s a card with high attack power, but it can also help your team while weakening the opposing team—features I’ll show you as I go through this post. I used to post this kind of content mostly on “Sundays,” but I’m often busy—though it’s also possible that I might post one here and there on a “Sunday”; it all depends on my schedule. Still, I’ll be active, and you’ll know when I publish a new post.

Once again, this type of post isn't meant to recommend a specific card order, but what is true is that these are cards that are, of course, great to have in your decks, so this is one of them—be sure to make a note of it.

Analysis and Statistics for “RILA FEN”

As I always say, a card’s “Stats” are the most important thing to look at when deciding how and when to use it. Of course, that’s not the whole story—there are a few other things to take into account, and this is where abilities play a key role in a card’s usefulness. The reality is that the problem with not getting winning streaks is a lack of ability to make good decisions when choosing cards, but we’re addressing that with the content we’re creating.

But, without further ado, let’s explain the “Stats” so you know in what kind of scenario you should play the card:

Statistics for “RILA FEN”

  • Rarity, Splinter, and Bloodline: This card is Epic rarity and belongs to the Life Splinter, which is one of my current favorites because it has some very powerful cards lately, and its bloodline is “Goblin.” That means you can not only play Life element cards but also combine them with “Goblin” cards from any Splinter.

  • Mana Cost, Attack, and Speed: This card has a mana cost of 8 points—not very low, but not very high either. I’d say the cost is moderate, but that doesn’t mean we can use it in scenarios where available mana is really low, because that wouldn’t leave much room to maneuver. As for its attack, it’s of the “Magic” type and has a maximum power of 3 points; its speed, on the other hand, is also 3 points—neither too low nor too high. It can be enhanced with certain combinations, which would certainly make it more lethal.

  • Shield and Health: This card has +3 Shield and 8 Health, giving me pretty good protection with the goal of shielding it as much as possible. Of course, you have to know how to position it here, because if you want its abilities to take effect, it needs time—so its ideal spot would be between the 3rd and 5th positions.

NOTE: While we can play this card in almost any context due to its versatility—not to mention that we should make the most of its attack and bloodline—the idea is that its magical attack will be favored in whatever battle we choose to deploy it.

"RILA FEN" Abilities

Abilities are what determine whether or not we’ll play a card, but don’t get confused—you have to combine this with “Stats.” Generally speaking, if the battle conditions allow us to use this card’s abilities, it’s definitely a candidate to play. However, you always have to think about the combination—not just a single card. We need to think about how to use it in conjunction with these other cards to enhance them; that’s the idea.

Anyway, these are its abilities, and here we’ll undoubtedly see its true usefulness:

His Abilities

  • Divine Shield: This is one of the “Splinter of Life’s” native abilities, so to speak, since its effect is to completely reduce damage to 0 on the first attack it receives. This means that, practically in the first round, this card can attack and likely activate its abilities without taking any damage.

  • Final Rest: Once per battle, this ability completely blocks the use of the following abilities: (Rebirth, Resurrect, Resurgence, and Soul Siphon). The only way to prevent this is if the card has the ability called “Last Word,” which grants immunity to “Final Rest.”

  • Tank Heal: This ability is very well-known—one of the oldest—and its effect is essentially to heal the “Tank,” that is, the card in the first position of our deck. Therefore, not only do we have attack power and the ability to prevent the enemy from resurrecting their cards, but we also support our strongest card in the first position by healing it.

  • Echo: This ability is one of the most useful when it comes to cards that also function as “Support” in some way—even if they have strong offensive capabilities—since its effect is that all healing and removal abilities are activated twice in the same round. As a result, “Tank Heal” heals our tank twice, turning that card into a completely impenetrable wall that’s difficult to defeat.

NOTE: Now that everything has been explained, this card can be used in incredible ways with “Support” cards, since its healing and cleansing abilities trigger twice. Therefore, we should combine it with “Support” cards, but also with cards that can boost either its speed or attack, to strike a balance between offense and defense.

Conclusion

I hope this post has helped you understand just how useful the “RILA FEN” card is. I was surprised by the ways it can be played, especially with that last ability called “Echo,” which amplifies and triggers healing and cleansing abilities on our side of the field twice.

Have you tried this card yet? What do you think of it?
