Here are three tools from the “SplinterCards” platform that are still useful

Best regards Splinterlovers 💚

Splinterlands has many tools that can be used to make a player’s day-to-day experience easier. Whether you want to educate yourself and learn about gameplay, or simply understand how the “Splinterlands” economy works, you can do so using these third-party tools. However, there’s one in particular that I really like, and even though it seems to me that it’s no longer receiving support or updates, it’s still very useful. For those who aren’t familiar with it, I’d like to show you how to use it and explain how it works today.

That’s why, in this post, I’ll explain how you can take advantage of this platform called “SplinterCards,” which for years has served as one of the most comprehensive tools in the ecosystem—like a Swiss Army knife that has a little bit of everything. And even though several of its features no longer work, it can still be very useful—for example, the market tool, which hasn’t been updated to include “Conclave Arcana,” and staking tools, so you can get a rough idea of the potential scope of your rewards, etc.

So, if you're ready, stick around until the end of this post because I'm going to explain the three tools that still work on this platform and are really important. So, without further ado, let's get right to it:

"These are the 3 'Tools' that still work on SplinterCards"

As I said, over the years this platform has created many solutions for players—tools that can help you understand certain mechanics that new players might not grasp on their own. What’s more, they were created to make life easier for everyone within the game’s ecosystem. That’s the whole point of these tools, which is why today I want to share with you the most useful ones—the ones that still work or that you can still take advantage of.

With that in mind, let's begin by explaining each of them—or at least the most important ones—because there may be a second part to this:

List Price Analysis:

For many years, this tool for analyzing in-game card prices was one of the most useful and iconic in the ecosystem, as it presents a wealth of incredible data in a single table that you can use to take advantage of the market—whether you want to buy cards at the lowest possible price or, conversely, do the exact opposite: sell them at a high price.

However, the best thing about this tool is that with just a glance, you can see a chart’s trend. For example, if you see a very high percentage in red in the “Trend” column, it means the price of that chart has dropped significantly—which for us would be a clear buy signal. Now, if the opposite happens, it means it’s time to sell because the percentage would be “green,” indicating that the security’s price has risen significantly over a specific time period that you can also configure.

Token Charts

Although the description of this tool clearly states that it is an experiment, the reality is that it works and gives you an overview of what’s happening with a particular asset. However, the assets you can select here are mostly related to the “Splinterlands” ecosystem, so here you can see which ones might be worth investing in over the short, medium, and long term. However, what is certain is that, even though you have general assets to evaluate, the data isn’t really up to date—since, in the case of cards, it only goes up to “Rebellion.” This means you won’t be able to see “Arcana Conclave” and “Escalation,” and of course, the entire series of packs related to them.

It’s true that this is a major flaw, especially for those focused on the ecosystem’s newer assets, but if you want to analyze, for example, SPS or DEC—which is what I focus on most here—it works perfectly, and the same goes for HIVE or VOUCHER. So, my recommendation is to use it only with these main tokens, because if you focus on the tokens from the packs, you won’t be able to work comfortably, since the newer ones aren’t up to date.

Staking Calculator

Finally, one of the tools I like the most—and although it may not be that important for more advanced users—is the “Staking Calculator,” which works very simply, since its purpose is to show you the approximate value you can receive in SPS—and not just in SPS, but also in VOUCHER—which it calculates based on the APR currently offered by Splinterlands’ native staking, which is 7.3%.

For example, the image shows that if you have about 100,000 SPS in staking, you could receive approximately 13,558 SPS and 1,962 VOUCHERS, equivalent to about $0.06—which isn’t much, since 100,000 SPS is worth around $290, which probably isn’t a lot for some people, but for those starting with little capital, it’s a lot, and you receive very little in return. However, the positive aspect of this—which I’ve mentioned many times—is that you increase your multiplier to earn more SPS per battle won and, of course, more GLINT.

Conclusion

So, if you still want to use Splintercards, I recommend these tools—you can still get a lot out of them. Of course, there are many other tools I haven’t mentioned that are also very useful, and I’ll probably cover them in another post as a sort of “Part 2,” so stay tuned.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to leave a comment.
