Best regards Splinterlovers 💚

Tomorrow, June 30, “Visions of Verico” will be released—the first official card set that will introduce the first lineage cards to the plots of land in “Praetoria,” however, these are not just any cards; rather, they are worker cards that will be very useful for the management, administration, and production on the plots, which will bring about a complete paradigm shift in this game mode.

That’s why in this post we’re going to take a closer look at the “Pre-sale,” the cards’ features and mechanics, and why you should participate if you’re an active player in the “Land Plots” game mode—which, little by little with each update, is becoming much more integrated with the actual battle gameplay. After all, these cards may be intended solely for working the land, but there could be some changes coming to enhance the cards in all existing sets, so stay tuned.

In any case, this post isn't meant to highlight the other cards, but rather to explain all the details of the presales and why this is important, so I ask that, if you want to know what all this is about, you stick around until the end of this post:

Pre-sale and Package Details

Okay, for those who haven't been paying attention, in this section I'll explain everything you need to know about the pre-sale for "Visions Of Verico," which takes place tomorrow. It was announced about 20 days ago, along with details on the cards, abilities, and many other aspects that I'll summarize in this post. Later, in upcoming posts, I'll go into much more detail for anyone who has questions. In the meantime, let’s get to the information:

As I said, the “Pre-sale” starts tomorrow, and here are all the details you need to know if you want to participate:

Pre-sale Details

  • Availability or Number of Packages: Starting tomorrow and for the remainder of the presale—which is expected to last throughout the month of July—only a total of 250,000 packages will be sold, so I see that, in a way, this will be a fairly small number.

  • The Contents: One thing we didn't know until now was how many cards the “Visions Of Verico” packs would contain, and this is the first time I've seen that there will be quite a few—each pack will contain a total of about 20 worker cards, which, I must say, look spectacular.

  • The Price: One great thing is that the packs are affordable, which could be a good opportunity to build a competitive deck of worker cards that allow you to effectively manage, administer, and/or produce your resources. Each pack costs $2 (2,000 Credits per pack), USDC, or, alternatively, DEC.

Note: One really nice thing is that if you use DEC, you'll receive a 5% bonus that applies to the value of your purchase, so it's obviously much better to use DEC for your purchases to take advantage of that 5%.

Card Features and Mechanics

In this section, I’ll go over all the characteristics of these cards, such as their rarities, the versions we’ll see, some details on how to use them, and a little more. The goal isn’t for you to walk away from this post with 100% knowledge of how the cards work and how to use them—I think we’ll all get to that point once we’re in “Praetoria” and put them to work. The idea is to have the information and understanding of the abilities so you’ll know what to do when the opportunity arises after the pre-sale ends and we have the cards.

So, what you need to know right now is that each card has up to 6 abilities that are unlocked as you level up; these abilities are:

Worker Card Abilities

  • Toil & Kin: This is a lineage-based skill that increases efficiency.

  • Rationing Lite: This ability reduces resource consumption; however, it does not apply to plots with more than 20,000 base PP, so you should keep this in mind before devising a strategy.

  • Alteration (Skins Factory): This is a skill that lets you obtain some cosmetic items and generally doesn't affect the work on the plots or their workers at all, but basically what it does is generate "skins"—or, as I said, some cosmetic items that can be applied to the cards.

  • Glint Recovery (Glint Bombs): This is one of the most appealing features of all—you have the chance to randomly generate GLINTS when you receive certain types of bombs. I guess we'll see what the bombs look like when the game launches, but the important thing is that you can earn GLINT.

  • Dark Discount: This feature offers some exclusive discounts—we don't have any specific details about them yet, but they could be quite interesting.

  • Fortune Seeker: This is a skill that is unlocked when one of the common cards reaches its maximum level; it allows you to participate in weekly raffles for cards that we could call “Premium.”

Other Features

This set of cards comes in several versions; even though they are all “Common,” these versions are:

  • Regular Foil
  • Gold Foil
  • Black
  • Gold Arcane
  • Black Foil Arcane

On the other hand, these cards cannot be used in “Conflicts”; specifically, you cannot use them to win cards in “Escalation Conflicts,” and they carry the same weight in “Collection Power” as the “Arcana Conclave” edition.

Conclusion

Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for the new set of worker cards specialized in land plots, which will usher in a new era of management, production, and administration of resources and other items in this game mode. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but it won’t be long before this begins—remember, there are only 250,000 packs available.
